Cheers 2 Ears!
From Motel 6 to Magic Moments: How We Ate, Sipped, and Rope-Dropped Our Way Through Disneyland with a Krakatoa Punch
A tiki eruption, a budget gamble, and a cold brew quest turned this trip into a string of small wins. We kick things off at Trader Sam’s—scoring a quick walk-up, catching the Krakatoa show, and nerding out on the punch’s flavor build—then lay out exactly how a cheap motel can still work if you know your pace, your feet, and your priorities. From there, the map becomes edible: Ronto Wrap mornings, Snack-Adjacent lunches, and a split between Lamplight’s stripped-down downstairs menu and Jazz Kitchen’s rich, balanced plates. We share why a hurricane hits different after a long, muggy walk and how a single upsell at Magic Key Terrace turned into the right shareable at the right time.
Coffee is its own storyline. Disneyland’s cold brews are on a tear—Black Caf with Cocoa Puffs, the Bear Paw’s pecan and salted maple cold foam, a mocha nitro that reads like grown-up dessert—and the sleeper favorite might be the Vietnamese iced coffee from the Joffrey’s cart: strong, smooth, and just sweet enough. We compare notes with Walt Disney World and make the case that Anaheim is where the creativity lives, especially if you like your caffeine with texture and personality.
Rides and shows bring the balance. Guardians Monsters After Dark is a worthy alternate cut; Haunted Mansion Holiday earns must-do status with a seamless Nightmare Before Christmas overlay; and the new Walt Disney presentation surprises with a thoughtful film, refreshed exhibits, and an animatronic that looks far better in person than on social clips. We talk rope drop choices that backfired and the multipass saves that followed, our best-ever piloting on Smugglers Run, and a rare, fully operational Rise of the Resistance run that reminded us why the hype exists. Through it all, cast interactions and small kindnesses stacked up—seat requests granted, a well-timed scare, and quick help at tap-in—reinforcing a simple truth: pace yourself, pick your musts, and let the rest be joy.
If you had to choose one must-sip, one must-bite, and one must-ride from your last trip, what would you pick? Subscribe, share with a Disney friend, and leave a review with your three—let’s build the ultimate shortlist together.
Here's who we are and what is in store for you
Hello and welcome to Cheers2ears, where today we're drinking a Krakatoa punch from Trader Sam's at the Disneyland Hotel.
unknown:Yes.
SPEAKER_01:Great place. Finally got to try it. We got in there right away. We'll talk about more of that in a second. It's made with Sailor Jerry spiced rum, Florida Kana seven-year rum, Sam's Gorilla Grog, or Geet, and Hibiscus. And the prices are not on here, and I have no idea what we paid because I didn't even look. Do you remember the prices of the night?
SPEAKER_00:With tax, it ended up being like 24 bucks. Hold on, let me let me pull this up because I actually You wrote how much you paid. And I have the receipt somewhere. But anyway. 24 bucks was tax tip and my drink. Okay. I think it was 1875 or 1977. Something like that.
SPEAKER_01:Something like that. So it's Disney about on the top end of Disney drinks, which they all are there.
SPEAKER_00:But yeah, I get we'll get into talking about Trader Sam's here in a minute. Right.
SPEAKER_01:So this drink, though.
SPEAKER_00:We did, we made gorilla grog from scratch. That's three ounces of pog juice, an ounce of pineapple juice, two ounces of lemon juice, a quarter ounce of orgit syrup, and a quarter ounce of Falernum syrup. And so that makes enough for two drinks for your whatever. And a lot of the drinks at Trader Sam's have gorilla grog in them. And so the what we end up using three ounces of gorilla grog, one ounce of dark rum, which we used the gossling's dark rum, one ounce of spiced rum, we used Captain Morgan's, and then another half ounce of the orgite syrup, and a quarter ounce of hibiscus grenadine syrup. So we did a little float of grenadine and dropped a hibiscus flour in there, which we actually had.
SPEAKER_01:Yep. So it's a little different. It's a little different. So it's a little more sour taste. It's a lemon, has a little more lemony taste to it. So maybe back off the lemon, just a scotch. Yeah. It was three the three ounces in the gorilla grog. But still really good drink. Very good drink. Yeah, I like this. It mixes well together. All the flavors blend lots of ingredients, more than we usually have in a drink.
SPEAKER_00:Yes, this had a lot. I was almost ready to not even make a drink. You were. I walked in, I'm like, uh maybe we should just have a beer and talk about our trip. But glad we made this. Yeah, very good. This was what I had in mind when I asked you to pick up some pog juice from work. Perfect.
SPEAKER_01:So delicious drink. Try it at home. It's a good fruity drink.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:And it's what I ordered our first night. Do you want us to start talking about our when we flew in? Yeah. Our first day. So we got Yeah. So let's talk about what we're talking about today. We just took a Disney trip last week.
SPEAKER_00:We did. And Wednesday Tuesday night we flew in and we came back on Saturday morning. Had three full days in the park. Uh-huh. And we did Disneyland, DCA, DCA for our rope drops. But Tuesday night, as soon as of course we had to go to downtown Disney.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, it was funny because I called Christy when we came in. I called my wife Christy when we flew in. And she said, What are you guys doing? I said, We're we just got to the hotel, we're dropping our stuff and walked to downtown Disney. And she said, But why? Funny, one of the funniest questions I've ever heard of my life.
SPEAKER_00:So we stayed at the Anaheim, I think it was the Anaheim Motel 6. Yeah, Anaheim Motel 6, main gate. Main gate.
SPEAKER_01:That was our Tim Pop trip we've been talking about for weeks.
SPEAKER_00:Yes, it was 414 bucks for four nights. They said it was 0.6 miles from the the gate. That was a lie.
SPEAKER_01:I don't know. It's 12 to 15 minute walk every night. Every day. It's not that bad.
SPEAKER_00:So I measured it when we left Jazz Kitchen and walked back, and it was 2,900 steps. And those were long steps. So it's it was like at least a mile and a quarter, up to a mile and a half. Probably about a mile and a quarter, I would say, from there. So to get into the parks, we're we're talking about a mile walk. So a mile walk to start your day and end your day. On top of everything.
SPEAKER_01:Not bad.
SPEAKER_00:Not bad. I don't know if I'd stay there again. The beds were fairly uncomfortable. Clean room, nice room. Yeah, the beds were just not the greatest.
SPEAKER_01:Of course not, but that's what you expect, right? You have to expect not having a because it was fine for me.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:The bed didn't bother me at all.
SPEAKER_00:Mine had like a spot where somebody had slept in one side for I think for three months straight. It had a little had a little uh indentation, shall we say. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah.
SPEAKER_00:So you fall into that sucker and you're not getting out. Right. And then the back tweaks up. But it but it was clean. It was very clean.
SPEAKER_01:They clean the rooms quite often.
SPEAKER_00:Yes. It was almost every day. Yeah. And the staff was very nice. I really, except for the fact that the bed wasn't the most comfortable, although it was better as we went along. I've once I figured out the bed. But other than that, and the walk at the end of the night, which really even wasn't that bad, because as long as I'm walking and walking with some speed, I'm it doesn't bother me a whole lot. It was just more annoying that I had to walk all that way to get to the back to the hotel when I like walking just a short ways. Well, yeah, we all do. We all do.
SPEAKER_01:But is it was it worth another like$100,$200 a night? Yeah. You know, that's that's the whole thing. This it averages for the year. Motel this Motel 6 averages$83 a night. That's the average price throughout the year. That's not bad. That's not bad. For there's nothing even there's a few things kind of close to it. There's a thing called King's Inn, another really budget hotel. Yeah. I don't know anything about these hotels. It was the Viv. Yeah, but that looks that's probably more spendy. Yeah, that looked a little more, but it was a little further away. Further away. I'm talking about budget hotels.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. So and then I'm still I'm still gonna die in the hill of Best Western Raffles is my go-to gin pop hotel.
SPEAKER_01:It's a good gym pop, but it's a lot more, it costs a lot more a night. Yeah, but it's like$129 a night.
SPEAKER_00:Better yeah, but it's also free breakfast. Oh yeah. It's you get something for your extra money. And it's right next to the Toy Story lot, so you can ride the bus in.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, so there's lots of reasons why, but if you want the cheapest hotel, what I mean, probably the cheapest hotel in Disney, I think this is a good This is it. If you want to be within walking distance, this is it. And we're here to say it's not bad. It's not bad. It's not bad, it's worth it for what we do. Like I literally, my my days consisted of my evenings consisted of walking back to the hotel, hopping in the shower, getting into bed, waking up, putting my clothes on, brushing my teeth and stuff, and walking straight to the park.
SPEAKER_00:Walking back to the park, right?
SPEAKER_01:So, yeah, that there was no amenities to the hotel. Like there the coffee downstairs was horrible. It was all watery. That was coffee-tasting water.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:So it's but yeah, just a basic hotel. I'm I'm gonna say it's okay. I would stay there again. It's if I want a cheap trip, because we did the math, we did the math on me going by my on a solo trip just for a couple like two nights. And man, it's like you can't beat it. You can't beat it. If you're just gonna go fly down for two nights really quick and you want to do it multiple times a year and not break the bank, you know, of course. Right. Of course, I don't want to stay. It's not my first choice. No, like I want to stay at the Disneyland Hotel every time, yeah. Right? But we're talking just major price difference.
SPEAKER_00:You get the Disney Vacation Club that yeah. Thank you, Christy. Thank you, Christy.
SPEAKER_01:So, yeah, Motel 6, not bad, is my so anyway, we stayed there, getting back, but we went to the parks that first night.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, to the downtown Disney, and we walked around Disneyland Hotel a little bit, but it was mostly to go to Trader Sam's to see if we could get on the walk-up waiting list, which took uh five minutes. Yeah, it was quick, and we got to sit inside. She offered us the table she was originally gonna offer us was had some stuff on it, so she gave us a different table, but then came back and offered us that original table once they got it cleaned off, which was very friendly, very nice. But we had a good view of the bar and the entertainment, and all the entertainment value is great there, right? I would like to sit at the bar.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, I think that'd be fun to sit at the bar next time, yeah.
SPEAKER_00:And so I ordered you had the Krakatoa Putch, I had the Tangoroa cooler, which was Hamilton Pot Still Gold Rum, Tamarindo syrup, grapefruit, and tropical fruit juice blend is what it said. And so roughly the same price as Krakatoa Cooler. You can get them all in like a or a lot of their drinks in a souvenir mug, which then sell for quite a bit on on eBay, but it makes the drinks like 40, 50, 60 bucks.
SPEAKER_01:Right. So, yeah, my full intention was to get the uh oa and try it. But we got lucky and we saw the show right when we walked in, right when we sat down, a person ordered at the bar. We got to watch the entire show, and now our goal is to buy one of one or two of those tiki mugs that they make it in. And do that and put a video up on YouTube. Yeah, because they're very spindy. I didn't have anywhere to carry around a big old, it's a large tiki mug.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, it is.
SPEAKER_01:So we got to see we got to see the show, and there was a show that went with the Krakatoa punch, too.
SPEAKER_00:Yes, the Krakatoa erupted, and he kept like shooting a water bottle up in the air, and like what he said something like room temperature lava. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_01:He had a different line every time.
SPEAKER_00:He was hilarious, the bartender. So my drink was very good as well. The tamarindos syrup was a a unique flavor, but again, another very good fruity drink. I really enjoyed it. Yeah, I really I don't have any complaints of Trader Sam's.
SPEAKER_01:No, I looked at their menu, they have quite a few good food options too.
SPEAKER_00:And I kind of wish we'd I'd tried something there, and that we'll get into why later because the food at the other place was meh. But I'm thinking that might be a destination for me. I have to hit Trader Sam's now every time I go. Nice. Because that was a new that was the biggest new thing I tried was going there because I'd never been in there and stuff. So we walked around, did a little shop, looked around at the shops, some of the shops down at that end. I gave you a DVC tour. Yeah, I got the DVC tour.
SPEAKER_01:We were what'd you think of the DVC tower at Disneyland?
SPEAKER_00:Oh, very nice. Isn't that great? Like the lobby. I like that whole area, yeah. Because it's very secluded. You know, I'm used to just walking by it at full speed, walking in and out of the parks and stuff. So I never actually walked around the hotels. Uh-huh. Yeah. Great hotels, great lobby areas.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:It's not like a home away from home.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. And it's it's a good location. You still have to walk. It was a little weird having to because they switched the security entrance, so you gotta walk down a little ways to come back in. And I think that should be remedied. I think there there should be something for people in the hotel there to be able to walk kind of straight out by the pool and not have to do the whole end around.
SPEAKER_01:There seems to be a monorail stop at the hotel.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:I mean, that's what needs to happen.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, this is true. And you brought that up that all the hotels need a monorail stop.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, it'd be easy.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:It's not that long of a little loop they can make from the three hotels.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. They Disney Forward, that needs to be part of the project.
SPEAKER_01:It's just, it's just three more security gates.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. Right. Overall, thinking about the merchandise. Very disappointing.
SPEAKER_01:It was.
SPEAKER_00:The Pluto's.
SPEAKER_01:I didn't write anything about that down. And yeah, the Pluto.
SPEAKER_00:We talked about it a lot. And the Monsters Inc. stuff was cool. Yeah. Everything was lots of cool.
SPEAKER_01:It was surprising that Pluto stuff was really cool.
SPEAKER_00:That and the Monsters Inc., I really liked all of that. I was tempted to buy some of those Monsters Inc. shorts. But the rest of it, eh?
SPEAKER_01:The Halloween stuff, eh. Yeah, for a Halloween. It has to be great if it's going to be Halloween stuff because you can only wear it though. Like the magic key Halloween shirt that I saw. I liked it, but it's only a Halloween shirt.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:I want. If I want to show my magic key, my magic keyness off to everybody. I want to show them.
SPEAKER_00:Right?
SPEAKER_01:Yeah.
SPEAKER_00:All year long, baby. Rub it in. Yeah. So we ended that night. So we thought we we were going to be cutting it a little too close by making it back down to Earl of Sandwich, which would have been better. Oh, definitely better. We had to eat at Gigi's chicken shop. And I just had chicken strips. And you had a chicken wrap.
SPEAKER_01:Chicken wrap. It was like a chicken lettuce wrap thing.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. The chicken strips were meh, they were overpriced. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:It was two chicken strips, right?
SPEAKER_00:No, I think three. But they weren't huge.
SPEAKER_01:No.
SPEAKER_00:I don't see why I would ever go back there to eat. Right.
SPEAKER_01:It's at that new paradise market.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:That's at the very end.
SPEAKER_00:Closest Disneyland Hotel. Now the Korean place, potentially. Yeah. The coffee place. There's others I would try, I would not go back to G.
SPEAKER_01:There's like the parkside bar or something upstairs, something like that.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. And what's cool is you can order in one spot your food, and then you go to the inside to the their bar or whatever, their counter, and you pick up your food there. But you order from one place.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, so that's the only place we tried because it was late at night. Yeah. And that was the only place really open. It was pretty much closed when we went. That might have been part of the problem, too. Because we were there, we didn't get there till close to nine. Yeah, they were cleaning everything up. Yeah. I think that we should, I think we should give it a second chance.
SPEAKER_00:I'm not for Gigi's.
SPEAKER_01:No, but maybe but maybe someday. Maybe Gigi's will be fine later, right? With something different. If you get like the chicken, they have some good looking chicken.
SPEAKER_00:They had some bowls or something that potent had some potential, but that Korean looked like it might be good. I think it'll be a while before I'm willing to try it. Me too. Before I'm trying. But anyway, the it wasn't bad. It just eh. It was meh. And and I don't want to pay a bunch of money for meh. That's that probably the worst food we had the whole time. Yeah. So what do we do next? Oh, well, the next day we went into Disneyland. Okay, so this was I used to always drop California rope drop California Adventure. Because I had my little system going, and I realize now that with multi-pass and no longer having a fast pass system and all of that, I'm more of a if I'm gonna do three days, I'm gonna do two rope drops at Disneyland and one at DCA.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, because we didn't do a lot at Disneyland because we couldn't go there till 11 on two days.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, and you're wanting to get a bunch of stuff done at DCA. So by the time we got over there, yeah, it was like I don't know. We just didn't we kind of overdid DCA. We did.
SPEAKER_01:I feel rope dropping DCA two days out of three is overdoing it. Yeah. Especially the stuff we did when we didn't do stuff we could have done. Like I wrote Incredit Coaster once because you just you weren't gonna ride it right at this time. Yeah, I saw a road once, but that was a choice, right? I could have wrote it four or four times.
SPEAKER_00:You could have because that was at times one of the shorter lines. Right. That was a choice we made. And that was weird. So leading up to our trip, no lines. We're because we watched the apps non-stop. And as soon as we left, the whole time we're there, except for maybe Thursday was short lines.
SPEAKER_01:Long lines, long, busy parks, busy parks, especially at night. I can't believe how many people stayed after the fireworks every on Friday night. And as soon as we left, crowds went away.
SPEAKER_00:It's funny, we looked at the same time today. Yeah, we looked at the same time today.
SPEAKER_02:Like, what the heck?
SPEAKER_00:Anyway, I did try because I'm not I'm usually for my iced coffees, and I only had one of the Starbucks, my regular go-to cold brew with a little half and half. Now you find a new coffee. So I don't usually do the sweet ones, but we tried three new ones. I finally tried the black calf from Docking Base 7. I did the Asgardian Apple Cold Brew. You did from Pim's Test Kitchen, and we both did the Mike Mocha Nitro Cold Brew from Maurice's, which was it was good, chocolatey, you know, it was like a mocha, a cold brew mocha nitro.
SPEAKER_01:And you have that you had that one coffee at the was it the espresso cart?
SPEAKER_00:Did I have another one?
SPEAKER_01:You had like a Vietnamese. Oh that's what I say. You tried a new one that you really like. You so like that.
SPEAKER_00:So I had the Vietnamese iced coffee from the Joffreys cart at the end of San Francisco, the bridge. Uh-huh. And really enjoyed that one. Very strong coffee, but it's with condensed milk. And that added just a little bit of sweetness. You could tell the coffee was super strong, but it just was very caramely, chocolatey, but it didn't have caramel chocolate in it. It was just condensed milk and coffee. Very good. Definitely recommend that one.
SPEAKER_01:Completely forgot I need to try that next time. I wanted to try it, but I kept getting it was my non-coffee time. We walked by there. I have a certain coffee schedule I need to be on. When I need a coffee. So I tried the bear paw cold brew from Smoke Jumpers, and I ended up having three of them during the trip. You had one I order one just by itself the first day. Okay. And then both breakfast days I had one.
SPEAKER_00:Okay. For some reason I thought you'd had it, but you also had the micro Mocha Nitro Micro. Mocha Nitro Cold Brew, right? You had that one. Uh-huh. Yeah. I had many.
SPEAKER_01:Oh, I have many cold brews every time I got it. You had many coffees. I didn't try the one from Daisy's. That's the one you tried, right? Is that no? No, we didn't. Neither of us it was a pumpkin one. It was a pumpkin one. We neither of us tried that.
SPEAKER_00:Not interested in any of the pumpkin coffees.
SPEAKER_01:I almost was just to see how they did it. Yeah. Because I'm I surprisingly like this because I like to taste my coffee when I have a cold, even a cold brew. I like the coffee taste to be there. But this Bear Paw cold brew was a pecan cold brew with salted maple cold foam. Yes. So that's a lot of different flavors in there. And then with waffle pieces on top. So there's a lot of stuff in there. I used to like a lot of stuff. If I go to like a local shop like Black Rock that we have here, or Dutch Bros, the local area from here. I'm not ordering that kind of stuff. No. I'm not getting the fancy pants stuff. I get that like an Irish cream.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. That's what I oh the and that I'm the same way. It's a cold brew with half and half. That's all I want. I don't want to. This was surprisingly good. Yeah, occasionally I'll have like a vanilla sweet cream cold brew. The black calf with the cocoa puffs on the top. That was because I liked eating the cocoa puffs. It's good. And the coffee wasn't overly sweet. It's not. So with the cream cheese foam, the Asgardian apple cold brew had apple foam on it. Yeah. And it was a caramel coffee cold brew. So that was good. And then the I didn't mix in the the apple foam into the coffee.
SPEAKER_01:Okay.
SPEAKER_00:And then so yeah, it was, and those were the only ones that were, I would say, you really unique. But they were good.
SPEAKER_01:But they which is something you do not get at Disney World. No. They're, I mean, these were all pretty good cold brews. Cold brews rock at Disneyland. Yeah. There's a reason I go there for the cold brews now. When I go in, I'm gonna try the new cold brews. I'm looking at the list of all the new ones, seeing what's seasonal.
SPEAKER_00:And Disney World is just garbage.
SPEAKER_01:It's bad. Yeah. Once in a while, they'll throw a good one out there, but it's not good.
SPEAKER_00:The only one that's consistently good there is at the La Petite Cafe at the Riviera. They're with the almond foam, almond honey foam or whatever. Yeah. Other than that, it's Joffrey's and it just it's at best, it's a drinkable coffee. Yeah, you're going with you're finding a Starbucks. Yeah, but it's nothing special. So that was coffee was a big deal.
SPEAKER_01:That was the coffee trip. Yeah. So we should we talk about just food altogether next?
SPEAKER_00:Sure.
SPEAKER_01:All arounds?
SPEAKER_00:Breakfast was that was easy. We did a Ronto wrap the first day, and then we did that breakfast sandwich. Right.
SPEAKER_01:So Ronto wraps, we've talked about them before. Awesome. Bomb. Yeah. Can't beat them. So good. Really happy with the breakfast sandwich at Smoke Jumpers.
SPEAKER_00:I'm glad because I really hyped it up. You did? Yeah. Didn't care for the breakfast fries. They were fries with like some sort of seasoning on them. Yeah, it was like a chili.
SPEAKER_01:It's chili seasoning. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00:Smoked chili. And I mean, eh, for breakfast. The second time I got it, I just got the cutie oranges. They gave me two of them instead of fries.
SPEAKER_01:I I like the fries the second time better than I knew I was having them the first time. It took me a while to figure out what's going on.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:I thought I was just getting fries. And it's weird. It's weird having French fries with breakfast anyway. Yeah. I think they should have like, but there's a hash brown on your breakfast sandwich. Yes. Right? So it has a sausage patty, a hash brown, egg, and I think it has cheese. Cheese and their smoked jumper sauce.
SPEAKER_00:And then a green chili. And a green and the green chili made it for me. Yeah. I wish it had a little bit more. It could have had one more, right? A couple of green chilies. So we had those, we had that two days. Two days. So that was pretty straightforward breakfast. Yeah. It was just get some food, call it good. Move on. Yeah. But it was the but they were decent breakfasts. And we were we never rushed through breakfast. It wasn't like grab it and walk around with food. We sat down and enjoyed what we were eating and we become really good at not rushing through anything. Yeah. And being leisure. Yeah. Because I think it's it just comes from knowing I'm gonna I'm that's true.
SPEAKER_01:I mean, if you if something happens where you don't get to ride something, yeah, it's okay. Yeah, because you're going back. You make sure you hit the things you really want to do. But even if you're there for the first time, you don't have to run around the park. Yeah. And if you have a good plan going in, if you talk to somebody that knows, have your mus-do's and sprinkle in some other stuff, and yeah, it makes for a good trip.
SPEAKER_00:So I separated my meals because we did Lamplight Lounge, Jazz Kitchen, and Magic Key Terrace. Right. We did three, so we have three lunch plans. Three late lunch plans. Right. Although actually Jazz Kitchen turned into dinner plans because it wasn't until six o'clock by the time we got there. But anyway, my two dinners, I was gonna bring this up, of that were non-those meals, or my two other meal, two other meals I had. The pepperoni flatbread from Red Rose Tavern, really good, considering it like ten and a half bucks, which for a pretty filling meal, that's a great price for Disneyland. So it wasn't overly strong pepperoni, it was decent. It was, you know, it was a good meal.
SPEAKER_01:I can't remember what I got at Red Rose Tavern.
SPEAKER_00:You got that wrap thing, and you really liked it. Oh, it was a little spicy. That was really good. Yeah. So overall, I mean it was like a a folded like a crunch wrap.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, crunch wrap. It looked like a crunch wrap from Taco Bell. It was a spicy sauce on it. Yeah. And they have it in chicken and beef and pepperoni, maybe. Something else. You can get them like three or four three or four different flavors, yeah. Or meats in there.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:And it was really good. I forgot all about that. So just like your Vietnamese coffee, I forgot I had that until you said pepper. I said I bought something there too. And I wasn't sure. I would have that again.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:I would do that again.
SPEAKER_00:I wasn't sure about what you ordered. I thought, well, maybe I'll and I didn't, but I think if I go back, I might be willing to try that.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah. It was filling, not expensive.
SPEAKER_00:Not expensive.
SPEAKER_01:And very good.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. The only other the other meal we had, well, we were sitting, I think we were just having something to drink or you you grabbed a cold brew and I had like a sprite. And then I we were gonna go to Magic Key. We had reservations, and we kept pushing that back. Uh-huh. It started out of two and it turned into like 3.30 or something by the time we got around to because we kept doing other stuff.
SPEAKER_01:And and looking at the looking at the Magic Key Terrace menu, there wasn't a bunch of good food on there that I really wanted to have that day. It looked like it might taste good, but it was nothing we were either of us really wanted.
SPEAKER_00:I I ended up pulling you over to Hungry Bear Jamboree. You did barbecue Jamboree because I love their brisket sandwich. Just to me, one of the best sandwiches there. They put a lot of brisket on it, uh pickled onions, pickled jalapenos. I put a little regular barbecue sauce on it, not a ton. And the side of coleslaw, you can get fries, coleslaw or something else, but that was a good meal. And then yours, you had a salad. It was really good. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:That was so I kind of wanted to get that sandwich.
unknown:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:The same one you did, which I will we'll get next time. It's gonna be a it's gonna be one of my go-tos next time for sure. It's one of my must-do's. Yeah, I need to have that, but I just really didn't want anything that heavy, right? Because I was walking around so much, I was drinking a bunch of water and just wanted something like lighter. So I got the salad and the sauce on it was great. It was a barbecue chicken, a barbecue salad with brisket.
SPEAKER_00:Yes.
SPEAKER_01:Right? And it had it had a corn rib, which is weird. I didn't know how to eat it. It took me a while to figure it out. I just grabbed it and started chowing it down. Yeah, it's like a quarter of a corn on the cob, a quarter of a cob.
SPEAKER_00:They cook it like regular ribs, and you're supposed to eat it like the cob is the bone.
SPEAKER_01:I kind of did that, I think. I just kind of grabbed and started chowing on it. It had a chili vinaigrette, yeah. Which is really it added spice to the lettuce and stuff with it. It was really good.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, I was wanting that sandwich so much that like eating something lighter, actually, eating something lighter would have been very good. As we will get to when because we went to Magic Key Terrace after that. But yeah, we can't go wrong with the coleslaw and the and the sandwich. But that was that was actually the last day. That was the last, right?
SPEAKER_01:We're we're making yeah, we're not going day by day.
SPEAKER_00:We're just going to we're just talking about the food. Right.
SPEAKER_01:I think this was that was on Friday.
SPEAKER_00:This was a foodie one, yeah. So Wednesday, we we had our reservation lamplight lounge.
SPEAKER_01:Really like that place. I love the place. We did sit downstairs this time, which the menu is really short food-wise. Yeah. So if you go upstairs, you get the full menu. You go downstairs, there's like four or five food items and then drinks.
SPEAKER_00:And we we went light. We both had the same thing: the roasted squash, panzanella salad. Unfortunately, and we weren't we didn't realize it until we were almost done. They didn't add the squash, it was delicato squash. And they substituted with peaches, nectarines, I think. Nectarines instead of persimmons.
SPEAKER_01:It was weird, yeah. It was although it tasted, it was good. It was very good, very good, but not what we were expecting.
SPEAKER_00:The I the squash would have been good having the squash on there because that savory, because it was very tart with the it because it had a raisin something vinaigrette. Golden raisin vinaigrette. Right. And so it had a little bit of tartness, and so then it was only the goat cheese and the pumpkin seeds to to mellow it out in the croutons. The squash would have helped kind of balance all that with kind of the savory of the squash. Very strange. Overall, it was still very good, but we didn't realize until we were pretty much done. And wait a minute. This squash salad had no squash. Yeah, that was weird. So, drinks. We just had one.
SPEAKER_01:What'd you have? What did I have? I had the I didn't write it down.
SPEAKER_00:You didn't? No. Well, you can look it up, but I'll talk about my drink. So I had the hero work. I believe it was$17 or$18. Huckleberry vodka, dragon fruit syrup, lemon juice, and agave. It was very sweet. It was like a sweet tart candy. It was actually, it was very, very good with the salad. It just it a little more savory, would have balanced it out, but it's one I I want to try making sometime. Huckleberry vodka, dragon fruit syrup, lemon juice, and a gum. Really good drink.
SPEAKER_01:So I know I wanted to order the over budget because we had that in our yes. We did we didn't do that. We didn't order anything we've we've made. No. Which was weird. So what did I go with? I think I went with was it the Sunrise Spectacular? I don't know. No, that's. That sounds like more of a that's what I was thinking in the beginning.
SPEAKER_00:Okay, now I'm gonna pull up my app.
SPEAKER_01:Yes, we're looking at what I had. It wasn't with tequila. Dining. I think I got the sunrise spectacular. Oh, wait, maybe you did. I did. I got the sunrise spectacular because I'm looking over I had about ten different things I was gonna order, and that has bourbon, pineapple to orange juices, agave nectar, and a dash of bitters. And it's$19. And it was good. It's not memorable.
SPEAKER_00:That's right. You did have that because it was I took it we tried each other's little sip, and I was glad I because yours looked good, but I was kind of glad I didn't order it because it was very bourbon forward. Their drinks are have a heavy pour at Disneyland. So kudos to you guys for having a heavy pour with your drink. Thank you. Thank you, Disney. Thank you, Disney. But yeah, it was one of those where I'm like, okay, I wasn't feeling bourbon at the moment. Right. A lot of really interesting drinks. Yeah. Yours was good. That was Lamplight Lounge. That was Wednesday. Thursday we went to Jazz Kitchen. We just did the walk-up at right at about 5 30, 6 o'clock, I think was by the time we got there. Uh-huh. Walked right in. I think we waited like two minutes after we gave them our names. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:Thought it would be busy because it was so busy and there was no reservations available. Yeah. Got nervous. Still walked all the way down.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:Trying to think of what we're going to do if it failed.
SPEAKER_00:If it had, I it would have been Earl of Sandwich.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, probably.
SPEAKER_00:That would have been my go-to.
SPEAKER_01:But um yeah, we got right in.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:Took us upstairs. We got a view, we got a great view of the right by the glass of the parks railing and the new restaurant they're making they're building. It's um right across the street there. The tortilla Joe's hole in the ground. Right. Yes. It's gonna be a great steak and bourbon bar or something. Yeah, that's what it is. Okay. Yeah. But Jazz Kitchen. Didn't know what to expect. Never eaten there.
SPEAKER_00:I had eaten there once, really enjoyed it. Loved it. It was what year was that? 2020. My birthday in 2020. So five and a half years ago. Yep. Loved it. Loved it. So good. I just had the Jazz Kitchen lager. It was very lagery. It was just a beer. I it was a 20-ounce, I did the 20-ounce pour. And I just, after walking around, it was hot and muggy on Thursday. I just wanted a cold beer. Yep. And so you ordered a cocktail.
SPEAKER_01:And a hurricane, the Jazz Kitchen Hurricane.
SPEAKER_00:Very good cocktail.
SPEAKER_01:Very good. Very good. And then I topped it off with a purple haze beer.
SPEAKER_00:Oh, I forgot you.
SPEAKER_01:Because I drink it so fast.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:And then I needed something to wash down my delicious Nola Barbecue Gulf shrimp and grits.
SPEAKER_00:Yes. For dinner. It was so good. And it was either I wanted that one, or they had the shrimp and dumplings, which was shrimp and gnocchi. Or the Creole pasta jambalaya, which is what I went with. Uh-huh. Now I really would have liked it. I part of me just wanted like the comfort food with the rice and everything. This was so good. The it was something about the fettuccine, spinach fettuccine instead of rice. It wasn't heavy at all, but it was a good-sized serving. Usually the spices sit with you, and I was a little worried about like this is gonna sit in my stomach all night. No, it wasn't heavy. It wasn't, it didn't come back to bite me later. It was a good meal, and it had andouille sausage, chicken, and it had smaller like gulf shrimp, or big gulf shrimp. Looked great, or the like the salad size shrimp, whatever, small shrimp, but it was tasty. That was some good food.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah.
SPEAKER_00:And with all the veggies and whatnot in there. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:They have a crab beignet on their appetizer that looks like it. I mean, I didn't see them. It just sounds good.
SPEAKER_00:Every their appetizers look good.
SPEAKER_01:Yes, but we didn't have those because that's a lot of food.
SPEAKER_00:In the future, it might be just gourd or some appetizers and split them between all of us. And yeah. But definitely recommend that place. Yep. Very good. Very tasty. Pricey, but you know, I think our meals, the meal with one drink with my one beer was 65 bucks or something like that. So a tax and tip. So anyway, recommended. Yep. After that, I was like, I think it because it was about 7:30. I just decided to go back to the hotel room. You you hung out in the park for a couple more hours at least. I was like, yeah, I'm done because I was just kind of worn out that second day. Or I kind of wanted to save it up because I thought the next day would be a really long day.
SPEAKER_01:And that's a good trip tip, I think, for groups. Yeah. I mean, it's just me and you, but if it's even a larger group, it doesn't matter. It's everyone does Disney their own way every day. Yeah. And you gotta listen to yourself and your body to go all three days or so and make sure you're at full enjoyment mode. And so if someone wants to go back to a hotel, you shouldn't say, Oh, but I want to stay. You need to stay with me, or vice versa. Yeah. Right? It doesn't matter.
SPEAKER_00:You don't have to go back.
SPEAKER_01:That's a decent that's the great thing about being walking distance from the hotel.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, you don't have to go back, you don't have to stay, just everybody does their own thing.
SPEAKER_01:As long as they're not a little kid that needs guidance.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:So supervision. Yeah, just yeah.
SPEAKER_00:I went back and yeah, I was pretty wiped out. That first day kind of took a lot out of me. I actually woke up in my back because of not being able to figure out the bed, and I could barely walk, and I'm like, oh crap, I gotta go ride rides and do all this other stuff, and my back's completely thrown out. But by the time we left, I it was actually okay. Left the room that morning.
SPEAKER_01:So our only other place we ate was Magic Key Terrace.
SPEAKER_00:Yes.
SPEAKER_01:And we that wasn't the plan when we went there to eat anything because we ate at Hungry Bear.
unknown:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:Our plan before we left was to eat there, but on our walk there, our plan was to just get a drink and hang out and check it out because I hadn't been there yet. Exactly. And I'm a brand new magic key holder as of that trip. Yes. Right? So I wanted to look at it and just see what it was all about. Yeah. Right. And so we went there and the waitress was amazing. And we just she asked what we wanted, and we said we're just gonna sell. Yeah, she upsold us like a genius. Yes. Like, we'll just have a couple drinks. Oh, are you sure you really don't want to have something to like nipple on? But you need food. Right. Like I was like, I felt like I had to order food after that.
SPEAKER_00:Like this overly caring ant. So we ordered we ordered the fonduta. Yes. Which fondue with Christini. It had potatoes, like mini potatoes, cut up and roasted mini potatoes that you could dip in, and some Spanish chorizo. Yeah, very good. Very tasty.
SPEAKER_01:Very tasty. It went well with the drinks.
SPEAKER_00:I mean, I was glad we were hungry at all.
SPEAKER_01:No, but it worked well. It did. It worked well. It added to the drinks that we had.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:I had the 54321, which was Captain Morgan's carousel, coconut pineapple cream, and fresh lime juice. Yeah. It was 1875, and it was very good. I loved the looks of it. Visually, it was great looking. It was. And I thought it tasted great. I mean, I'm recommending we tried to make it sometime here.
SPEAKER_00:I thought we had, but I guess we have. No, we've done something else. Oh, drop in if you dare. We did that. I thought we'd done another one. Oh, we did just recently. The raw La Renacida. Okay. That was from there, which was a good drink. So I did that. I did the shipwreck. Bacardi rum, Gifford's Passion Fruit Liqueur, Orgite, coconut milk, lime juice, topped with Myers Dark Rum and Aromatic Bitters. This tasted like rum mixed with coconut milk. It was it looked very nice. It looked great visually. Very nice looking drink. But it was it was very coconut milk forward and then the rum. So I didn't get any of the passion fruit liqueur, the lime juice. None of that really came through. And the orgit didn't. That has a way of just kind of like mellowing out, or I don't know. It brings flavors together to me.
SPEAKER_01:Right.
SPEAKER_00:This just tasted like a lot. It was okay. It wasn't great. I don't think I'd ever order it again. Which is kind of disappointing now because the two times I've gone to Magic Key Lounge, I haven't been like really impressed with the drinks. They've been okay, but it's never, it's not something I'd order again. So yeah.
SPEAKER_01:Okay, we talked a lot, long time about food.
SPEAKER_00:We have. Are we all done?
SPEAKER_01:I think we're done with food.
SPEAKER_00:The only two things food, I got two more food comments.
SPEAKER_01:Okay.
SPEAKER_00:Is I didn't try Ursula's enchanted waffles, which are filled with the Ube custard. And I wanted a Jack Jack's cookie num. As did I. But we didn't actually eat a whole lot of sweets.
SPEAKER_01:No, I had two, I did two churros. You did.
SPEAKER_00:In the evening twice. And I had something. I didn't get my Mickey ice cream bar. You didn't.
SPEAKER_01:We searched at that. That was a crazy, crazy scamper for it.
SPEAKER_00:We walked all over the place looking for this. Right. It wasn't happening. I think we walked from Galaxy's Edge to Tomorrowland, back over to Frontierland, and could not find it anywhere.
SPEAKER_01:It was late in the evening.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, it was right before the landing. So there we go. So rides. Rides. We'll end on rides.
SPEAKER_01:Okay, so the first disappointing thing before you even left that Big Thunder was closed.
SPEAKER_00:Yes. And Radiator Springs Racers.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, but that's not a that's not a huge miss for me. I mean I can miss that and go not riding Big Thunder kind of hurts.
SPEAKER_00:Because it was closed at my Disney World channel. It was. So I haven't ridden that in a long time.
SPEAKER_01:But I did get to try three things I never tried before, and you one thing. Yes. That you never tried before. So I got to try the Guardian's After Dark, Monsters After Dark, or whatever they call it. Exactly. I don't know the official name for it, but it it's great. Let me tell you, first of all, everything new hits. Yep. Great, right? Guardians After Dark was just as good as the regular ride. I don't know if it's better because I've rode Guardians so many times. But we rode we rode Guardians a total of six times. Six times. Three because they let you have a multipass for each. Yeah, and we utilize that like crazy. And it was, I mean, Guardians After Dark was great.
SPEAKER_00:Yes. Because it's different. And it's a good difference.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah. And so before we talk about the same thing we did before, I'm going to say about the Haunted Mansion holiday.
SPEAKER_00:Yes.
SPEAKER_01:Right? I loved it. I'm really disappointed we only wrote it twice. Okay. I really want to do it more because I mean it's it's right up there with my favorite rides now. I love, love, loved it. It's good. We're talking, I mean, I like Haunted Mansion. Yeah. I'm not a diehard haunted mansion buying the merch and singing the song around the house. No. I'll sing the Mickey a Minnie song 10 billion times before I sing the Haunted Mansion song. But that was the visually, it's great. The way they incorporated Night Before Christmas into everything that was Haunted Mansion in the same rooms.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:Amazing. The songs are some of my favorite. It's one of my favorite movies. I mean, I went and opened when it was on th when it became 3D. Uh-huh. It was one of the first movies released 3D in the theater. One of the new 3D glasses. Yeah. Yeah. And I went opening night to that years ago. So it's one of my favorite movies. And so I just loved it.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:So I'm definitely want to go back next Christmas or Halloween. I think Christmas is our shooting for a Christmas trip next year. And just to haunt a mansion it up when I go. Yeah. But now let's both talk about what we both experienced for the first time. The Walt Disney show.
SPEAKER_00:Yes. The Walt Disney show. I loved it.
SPEAKER_01:I was nervous because of all this all the crap I heard online.
SPEAKER_00:And people like, he looked weird. I didn't think he looked weird, the animatronic.
SPEAKER_01:He didn't live on video, he looked weird. The stuff I saw online, it looked strange. I don't know if it was the lighting they had on their cameras or the angle they took it. I think it might have been the angle. Yeah, but were we sat every time? Three quarters of the way down.
SPEAKER_00:Three quarters of the way. Three quarters of the way. Please go at least three quarters of the way down. That's only hep, ma'am. That's halfway. Please keep going. That was funny.
SPEAKER_01:So were we sat every time? He looked great. And the movie beforehand was amazing.
SPEAKER_00:Yes. There were a lot of clips out of that that came from Hollywood Studios, the Walt story that plays in one of the theaters there in their little museum. But the showroom, the museum room, all new exhibits on like park sketches and great. Everything about that was great.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, 10 different park sketches leading up to how to the final sketch. To the final sketch.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:Different sketchboards on every land. And how they were created and visualized. And yeah. Just amazing. That's my kind that's my kind of stuff.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:That's how that's how i Disney. Best geeky wise. And we did that three times.
SPEAKER_00:Three times. Yeah. We watched that three times. But I'm one who I'll do like I would have done Lincoln twice. Yeah. Had it had that show not been there.
SPEAKER_01:And part of it is their lack of shows they have at Disney.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. That's becoming very disappointing.
SPEAKER_01:It is. It's more, it's more noticeable every time we go. Yeah. How little shows we have. We're going to see. I've never done crush twice in a trip. We did it twice.
SPEAKER_00:We did it twice. I've never seen crush twice. Did the tiki room twice, mil Mickey's Philharmagic twice. Yeah. Yeah. Very disappointing.
SPEAKER_01:But the parks were also very busy, like we talked about before. So we only hit Mickey and Minnie's once. We did. And it has a lot to do with where we rope dropped. We didn't start it last, so we didn't. And it's very disappointing to me because I don't like not going there and only writing it once. It seems kind of a bummer. Yeah. After we left. I didn't notice it. But one day I had a lightning lane for it at 10.
SPEAKER_00:10 30, yes. That night I left early after dinner.
SPEAKER_01:We both had a lightning lane. You were already gone. It was on there and it ended up shutting down. And so we got a we got a multi-experience pass for it. For the next day. It was amazing.
SPEAKER_00:Right. Because that let us and because we got another one for Grizzly River Run shutting down that morning. And so we had two, and that let us hit both Pirates and I think Indiana Jones.
SPEAKER_01:No? We did Indiana Jones the first time.
SPEAKER_00:No, we rope dropped Indiana Jones the first day. Did we do Haunted Mansion?
SPEAKER_01:We might have done Haunted Man. I don't forgot. Yeah. I don't know if what I forgot what we did with the other ones.
SPEAKER_00:Something like that. We did Rise once. And it was like 20 minutes line, even though it said 40. So that was really quick. So that was the first time in a few years that I've seen that whole show and there hasn't been some part of it shut down.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, it was very good. I haven't read I didn't ride Rise the last two times I've been to Disney.
SPEAKER_00:And I have, but it's like a part a piece of it has been shut down the last few times.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, but I so I wrote it so many times when it first opened. Yeah. That I haven't wrote it for a while because the line's so long. Yeah. I don't want to pay for an extra single pass for it.
SPEAKER_00:But this had everything going, everything right. The cannons, all of the animatronics were working. Everything was working. And that in itself is just an absolute miracle nowadays because it seems like something's broken down. And what's great is they have it where they can shut down that little piece and not shut down the whole ride. But it's still nice to be able to see the whole thing. Best time ever on smugglers run. We had fun. Yeah, we were the pilots.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, me and you killed it. We I think I don't know what the people behind us thought because there were six of us. It was a Fabio Four. Yes. And me and you, and they they told us we were the pilots, and I I told you, I said, should we just let one of them be the pilots?
SPEAKER_00:And I said, No.
SPEAKER_01:So I said, okay, let's do it. And we just goofed off the whole time.
SPEAKER_00:We were smacking each other's buttons and reaching across and yelling at each other. Yeah, that was a good time. Because we got off and you just couldn't stop laughing.
SPEAKER_01:I left for a while. I was still laughing about it, thinking how fun that was. It was a good and we rode that a couple times. We did that twice. We did I did Ann Jones twice. You left the second time.
unknown:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:We did Haunted Mansion twice. We did Tiana's twice.
SPEAKER_00:Yes. I love Tiana's. Didn't get really well. No, the second time we got kind of wet. Did I do Tiana three times? But we only did Grizzly once. I think we did I did Aerials like three or four times. We did. Because it was just easy to get on.
SPEAKER_01:That's that's one thing I was gonna say. That if you're if you're rope dropping and everything's busy, just go do aerials to start your day. Oh, it makes you happy. Yes, it starts your day off in a great mood. Singing. It's not technically the best ride. It's there's not it's not it's not a great ride all around, but all around it is a great ride at the same time because you're so happy.
SPEAKER_00:Dancing famous.
SPEAKER_01:We danced along to the turtle, dude. Yeah, and uh yeah, that just that's why I told you during the ride.
SPEAKER_00:I said, This is how you need to start a day, being this happy because we did that and then we did something else that was happy and fun.
SPEAKER_01:It felt good, yeah. We did soaring twice, soaring a couple times, we stood in line for four web slingers. We did every day, and we got stuck in the line and soaring for like four hours. Yes, that was so long, uh it's caught in there, and yeah.
SPEAKER_00:So yeah, I mean we rode everything.
SPEAKER_01:Everything we wanted to. We did we did the Ferris wheel.
SPEAKER_00:Paloranda did that one, and I that was one of my I've gotta ride this again, the stationary. It still kind of freaked me out a little bit, didn't freak me out as much as that girl that was on with us, right? There were two great two Japanese girls who were on there, and one of them was like practically on the floor in a in the fetal position. She was freaking out so bad, right? But then once it ended, she's like, Okay, I'm better.
SPEAKER_01:That was good. We messed up during the rides when we we have some good interactions with people, yeah, right. That's what it's all about, just being kind to everybody around you, making sure their experience is good. Yeah, that's when that's when I hand out a sticker or cheers to ear stickers we carry around with us. Great interactions with staff, but only when I well, only when we have a good interaction, yeah, right? If it's a positive interaction, and I don't know if we need a second logo because I'm not gonna hand them out to kids because of our beer clinking things. I don't know if we need to have a kids logo sticker.
SPEAKER_00:So and shout out to Dre on uh Guardians twice. We had great interactions with him once he was very accommodating for me requesting a certain seat, and then the second time he when it opened at the end of the ride and it was the monsters after dark, he jumped out from the side and screamed. That was hilarious, hilarious. So, yes, Dre was awesome on that ride, and very Peanut. She was very helpful for you this the last morning when we were trying to get in and your phone was kind of glitching and stuff, and she helped out. And that was literally her name was Peanut. Yep. At least that's what her name tag said.
SPEAKER_01:So yeah, cast interactions. If you're if you're nice to them, they're nice to you. Yeah, and they're nice to you when you're nice to them. Both ways it goes, right? And leave them a cast compliment on your app. Yes, as soon as it happens, right? Just get on your phone and do it. It means so much to them. It really, it really is nice. It's a nice thing to do.
SPEAKER_00:When they're when they go above and beyond for you, and it can factor into promotions and things like that. All sorts of stuff.
SPEAKER_01:And they get it, they get a little kudos from their higher ups, and it's just a good thing to do.
SPEAKER_00:So, overall, great trip. Well, I mean, it's not like it's ever a bad trip, but it'd be hard to make it a bad trip. But you know, relaxing, fun, gen pop. It was good. Yeah, good. Good trip. So till next time. Cheers. Cheers.
