What if the smartest way to fix a ride isn’t to rebuild it, but to tune what fans already love? We set ourselves a constraint-heavy challenge—no bulldozers, no new IP, just targeted upgrades that sharpen story, comfort, and interactivity—and the ideas started to fly.

We kick off with a crisp Summer Jam from Shades of Green, then dive into headliner debates. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure gets a character remix as Louis leads a gloriously off-beat band hunt that resolves into a splashdown crescendo. Radiator Springs Racers earns a kinetic upgrade with dirt-track drifting through high-speed corners. Roger Rabbit gets gamified with a “spinometer” and Benny’s delightfully passive-aggressive driving tips. Over in Epcot, we modernize Mission: SPACE into a SpaceX-flavored mission console where your timing matters, alarms blare, and teamwork lands you safely—no more dummy buttons.

Comfort and clarity drive big wins. Jungle Cruise flips to forward-facing seating and stronger audio so every punchline lands. Space Mountain in Magic Kingdom deserves Disneyland’s silky track and roomier vehicles. Indiana Jones trades dated projections for crisp animatronics, cinematic lighting, and denser sets. Ratatouille’s queue transforms from hallway to Parisian street theater, with sizzling kitchen aromas and scale gags that sell the shrink. Spaceship Earth gets audible narration and playful “thank the Phoenicians” tags to carry smiles between eras.

We future-proof the playful, too. Autopia goes fully electric through a living Tomorrowland city, guided by AI cars that coach your driving and score smoothness. Buzz Lightyear’s blasters finally aim true and reward accuracy, not spam. Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway leans meta with flickering “set” glitches, prop gaffes, and a Chuuby short that deepens the payoff. Expedition Everest multiplies the mayhem with curious baby yetis and a brief “off the rails” jolt that turns first rides into legend.

These are small, surgical changes with oversized impact: better queues, cleaner audio, sharper thrills, and more reasons to ride again. If you love Disney parks and believe classic attractions can evolve without losing their soul, you’ll have opinions. We want them. Subscribe, share with a fellow park nerd, and tell us the one small change you’d make first.

Drinks, Banter, And Setup

SPEAKER_00

Hello, welcome to Tears to Ears. For today, we're talking about small ride refurbs that just might not be necessary while drinking a summer jam from the shades of green. Welcome to Tears to Ears. We're gonna click our drinks. We're gonna toast. We're gonna toast and get our tears to it.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, we're back. We're back with our drink.

SPEAKER_00

Every time we say we're back, Eminem is in my head. Yeah, I got I can't stop. So the summer jam drink is made with vodka, razzumatazz, simple syrup, and lime, and it's sold for$11 at Evergreens at Shades of Green.

SPEAKER_01

Yes. Actually, if that was slid over a little bit, it would say citric, citric, citrus vodka. Okay. So we use Deep Eddies, one shot of Deep Eddies, grapefruit vodka, because grapefruit is a citrus, and that's what we had. We had it. But we used a Diamour, raspberry liqueur, one ounce of that, one ounce or a half ounce. So we did one ounce of raspberry liqueur, a half ounce of lime juice, and a half ounce of simple syrup.

SPEAKER_00

Stirred little raspberries with a little dried, freeze-dried raspberries.

SPEAKER_01

Is it decor? It's pretty good, Drew. This is a good one. It is a good one.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. It's not top, no, but it's not even close to the bottom.

SPEAKER_01

No.

SPEAKER_00

It might be mid-top range, maybe.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

If you break it down.

SPEAKER_01

This is one I might be this is one I'd be tempted to buy. Okay. So there's it's okay, but I don't think I'd ever buy it. And then there's it's okay, and I probably would buy it.

SPEAKER_00

That's say that right now when we're re-listening for our next big drink ranking. Yes. That it's in the range of I want to try it at the parks.

SPEAKER_01

Yes. That's a good range. That might, yeah. We'll have to come up with categories. We should. We already have a couple that are definite top of the list.

SPEAKER_00

Well, a couple that are bottom of the list.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and a couple that are hard on the bottom. Yeah. Like our worst drink ever in a year and a half of doing this. Finally kicked the what was the original that we had? It was a oh, it was it wasn't a mule. It was the mint. Oh yeah. Bourbon. And I can't even remember.

SPEAKER_00

It was in the first few, it was in the first 10-15 episodes.

SPEAKER_01

But it's mint and bourbon. And it's New Orleans drink. And I can't even remember. It's a very common name of a drink, but it just wasn't good. It wasn't good. Yeah, this is good. This not bad. So has nothing to do with our again. Right. Like last week. Has nothing to do with our theme of the episode. We just picked it because we wanted to try a couple drinks from Shades of Green. Yeah. Yeah. We are.

SPEAKER_00

I don't have too many drinks, so we're pretty much got a good percentage of their list. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

There's a drink called Shades of Green. We I think that's the one we had. Shades of Green.

SPEAKER_00

We've had that before?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Like months ago?

SPEAKER_01

It was when we did our military episode.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, we did one. There were yeah, we did we did the Shades of Green.

Summer Jam Cocktail Breakdown

SPEAKER_00

We did the Shades of Green. But today we're talking about so what we did for this one, this special episode. Yes. Is we each sent we sent each other 10 different rides. Yes. At any Disney park. And we had to do a just a we couldn't change the whole ride. Not an entire tear it down, build a new ride, but just a small refurbishment.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, or a little addition.

SPEAKER_00

Or an addition. You can add something to it.

SPEAKER_01

To make it better.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, still in the same ride name.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

But how we changed in the ride.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

And that you sent me 10, and I sent you 10.

SPEAKER_01

And the only overlapping one was Autopia Tomorrowland Raceway.

SPEAKER_00

Which is strange.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

And Small World is not on here at all.

SPEAKER_01

Small World is not on here at all. No.

SPEAKER_00

So all you that were waiting for Small World and for my take on it.

SPEAKER_01

Keep waiting. Would you like to start or should I start?

SPEAKER_00

I can start. Okay, go ahead. So my first one you sent me was Tiana's By You Adventure at Walt Disney World. Ooh. That's tough because we both like this ride. Because it's a great ride. It's a good ride. Yeah. So same ride. Okay. Okay. But the new Lewis. Okay. He takes over finding the band for Tiana. Oh. It's not Tiana finding the band. It's the same idea, same ride. He's in charge of finding the band, and then chaos ensues. Okay. From him trying to find the band. So the band is all always off beat. He finds horrible people. Some don't even know how to play an instrument. Okay. They're all really bad musicians. Oh. He first finds.

SPEAKER_02

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

But they're learning how to play as they go through the ride. Oh. They're learning and learning. And then the music's horrible. Horrible. And he's finding them, he's getting nervous. And at the you get up to the top right before you drop. And he says, Now for the big, big finish, the big final note. Here we go. And then it gets good. As you splash down. So you're going down and then it hits a big note when you hit the bottom. And the rest of the music as you float through is great.

SPEAKER_01

With a little mama Odie sprinkled some energy on there.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I had some ideas for her like trying to nix him trying to make it bad for him, but I went away from that. And that's all I had. So more villainy. The music is better at the end. Maybe some of the fireflies are like upset with him when they're going through. So just changed it up that way. Okay. He's in charge. Okay. And then still the same ending with Tiana waving.

SPEAKER_01

Waving at the party.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. That's my first one.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. What'd I give you first? You gave me Radiator Springs Racers. Okay. Another one that really doesn't need any addition to the stuff.

SPEAKER_00

I tried to get I gave you a lot that don't really need any.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, you did. So that one, the only thing I could think of was adding a drifting feature in the corners. Oh. And turning it more into a dirt track. So when you're going around those corners, the whole car turns and it feels like you're drifting through the corners.

SPEAKER_00

I like that.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, because they did that in the movie. Where because they were learning how to ride on dirt. That's so good. So that was the only thing I could think of. But honestly, that is like as close to a perfect ride as you can get. It's got great story, it's got some thrills, it's tons to look at. It's like animics. It's like Tiana's, right? It's as close to being a perfect ride as possible.

Rules For Small Ride Refurbs

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Yeah. It is a great ride. Don't think I ride it enough. I should single ride her that more. Oh, yeah. I used to always single rider. Yeah, I just don't do it enough. Early in the morning, too. It seems like a hassle to walk down there and stand in line sometimes.

SPEAKER_01

But it's such a good ride. No, I don't know.

SPEAKER_00

Think of how good it is when I'm like, eh. I ran up a lot. I can visualize the whole thing. Yeah. But I can do that with most rides. Okay. Your next one you gave me was uh Roger Rabbit cartoon spin. Yes. At Disneyland. That's a tough one. Because you could do a whole refurbishment on it if you wanted. You could. But I did not.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

I did a quick refurbishment. So uh now when you get in the car, Benny, the cab, he's passive aggressive. Oh. With his lines to you. Like uh like who taught you to drive?

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Those kind of lines the entire time. He kind of makes fun of you the entire drive. Okay? There's a spinometer, new spinometer on the car that gives you points for the more times you spend. Oh. Little teacup. Yeah. Nod to the teacup. You can spin and get points. And then as you're going along the ride, all of a sudden there's a baby Herman projection along the ride that uh that tells you that rates your driving as you go. Oh. He'll rate you. Hey, your driving sucks. Like that as you're driving around. He just appears out of nowhere. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I like that.

SPEAKER_00

Other than that, it's the same ride. Yeah. And I gotta say, one of the best cues at Disneyland.

SPEAKER_01

Yes. Yeah, plenty to see there. Okay. My next one, Rat Hatoui. Which it's funny you mentioned the Q because that's the only thing that needs to be improved.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

I think the rest of that ride is fine. I actually really like it.

SPEAKER_00

I don't know what I would think of, but I was hoping to cover something.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Remix

SPEAKER_01

That Q needs improvement. There needs to be more to see in the Q. You're right. Because the outside's boring, and then the inside, eh, it's just a hallway. You're just walking down a hallway with yeah. But because they already got rid of the 3D, maybe if they pump more food smells into there.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

That's something else that they could do. But other than that, I think they do a good job with that ride. I know it's not everybody's cup of tea, but I really like it. That's a pretty good ride. I think they do a good job with that one. Yeah. Just because it feels like you're shrunk down. You're the size of a rat. So good. Improve the queue and maybe pump some cooking smells in there.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. My next one is Cali River Rapids.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

So there's a lot there. My first comment is see Grizzly River Run. Yes. That's my first comment. Yes. But Cali River Rapids had a I didn't look up, I didn't relook up the whole history of the imagineering when it was first supposed to open. But it was supposed to be a lot different before it opened.

SPEAKER_01

It was supposed to be a lot bigger. And better. That and they realized that they didn't want it going near the animals. Oh. And that was a big reason why they shortened it because they couldn't have it like floating through where they're where the animals were.

SPEAKER_00

So if you're gonna be, I mean, what's Cali River Rapids story? What is the story of the red? Yeah. There isn't really one. So that's what I think they need. I think they need to imagine reimagine it as a story based. You're in the you're in the outback somewhere, or you're somewhere where there's a like a river, right? Like in Africa.

SPEAKER_01

Well, it's in the Asia section. Right.

SPEAKER_00

So make it in the Yankee or Right, make it in a river in Asia, right?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And make it like that.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

Radiator Springs Racers Drifting Idea

SPEAKER_00

Put the stuff because what they do with Grizzly River Run is they make it like a park, like a Yosemite National Park kind of ride.

SPEAKER_01

And a rafting trip.

SPEAKER_00

Right. It looks like it around when you walk around it. You can look at a little overpass. Yeah. You walk down in the middle of the ride and watch people coming down. So that's what you need.

SPEAKER_01

And it's got good rapids, and you do get wet.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, they don't just splash water in your face for a five yeah.

SPEAKER_01

They just splash water.

SPEAKER_00

What do we do now? Well, this ride's almost done. We don't have anything else. Okay, just throw water at their face.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

That's what Cali River Rapids is. So basically, it is sea grizzly of a run.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. So my next one. Okay. Mission space. You were doing this to be mean to me, I think. Honestly, raise to the ground and start over.

SPEAKER_00

That's what I didn't even say that. But what could you do differently?

Roger Rabbit Points And Snark

SPEAKER_01

Okay, same ride, but more with a SpaceX vision, as opposed to it's just old technology, old rocket space technology from the 70s. Yeah. They need to just update it to like mission to Mars. Like have Elon Musk give some thoughts on what that's supposed to look like. And mission to the moon, I think, is the green version of it. But yeah, just a little bit better, just updated. It just needs an update. Yeah, so more better technology and more interactive. Instead of you've got buttons that you can push that do nothing. I think it needs to be more interactive, like a smuggler's run where you have to hit the button. There's consequences. Yeah, hit the button at the right time. Oh, that would be cool if you could burn up on re-entry. I mean, that's not not the like literal burn up, but there's a hazard of burning up a fake burn-up. Right. Like alarms going off.

SPEAKER_00

But you're saved somehow.

SPEAKER_01

And you're looking out the window and it's just red flames. And yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And they do a really good job at this, these kind of rides, almost a ride. It's more of an experience. Yeah. At Kennedy Space Center.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Just across the way. They have a space shuttle experience where you're in a space shuttle and you actually take off, and it's it fills you get the G-forces. And it's really good. You sit in a room with a bunch of other people. Yeah. And they have a rocket ride where you land a rocket with the joysticks.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, see.

SPEAKER_00

They have some really cool interactive rides at Kennedy Space Center. They could, it's like a little they have some imaginary going on there.

SPEAKER_01

I just think it'd be cool if you could land it. Yeah, that'd be cool. And you have to, if it's four people, one of you has the joystick, one of you is controlling the engines and has to hit like the engines. And one person has some other job. Yeah. I just think more interactive and more SpaceX space exploration as opposed to 1970s. It looks like Apollo 15.

SPEAKER_00

It does. It looks exactly like a Space Wars kind of like our first mission to space.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Agreed. Agreed. My next one is Goofy Sky School. This is a funny one because I love the ride.

SPEAKER_02

Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_00

That's a tough one, really. Because if you're going to change it, the only things I can think of the seat. Yeah. Widen the cars.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So you either have to tear off the rails, redo the entire track system.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

To make the ride wider. Or just make it like the car change the cars where there are single-person cars.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

So three single person in a car.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Same track. So more like a bobsled type of thing.

SPEAKER_00

So yeah, so that's that's the biggest thing. Is to give you more room. We're not speaking in a hierarchy off the ride.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Because that's a tough one. And then the other thing is at the end of the ride for the kids, you should get a you should get a pilot's license.

SPEAKER_01

I think so.

SPEAKER_00

Like the Autopia license.

SPEAKER_01

You should get something like that.

Ratatouille Queue Fixes

SPEAKER_00

You should go in a booth, get your picture taken, and they pop out a little paper.

SPEAKER_01

I think so.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that'll cost them nothing.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. That's a good one. Okay, my next one. Peter Pan. Okay, so this is, and you had Peter Pan for Disneyland. And I think everyone has to get okay. There's a whole ride queue, but I don't think that's realistic because there's just no room to do that.

SPEAKER_00

It'd have to have an overpass.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. But underground. Everybody gets pixie dusted because you don't in Disneyland. You don't. And you do in Disney World. And it's a nice little touch.

SPEAKER_00

It is.

SPEAKER_01

And that's it. And really, that's not going to cost them anymore. Add. But it adds so much. It does add so much. It just closes and they just do the little pixie dust and you take off. And why they don't do that at Disneyland, I have no idea. But that's what they need to do.

SPEAKER_00

Man, can you make an underground queue where it goes down when you enter to make it longer so you can add a fast pass?

SPEAKER_01

Oh.

SPEAKER_00

Interesting.

SPEAKER_01

There's not a lot of room there. There's no room. Yeah. You have to do something crazy. You would have to shut down the shops that are off to the next to it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it's almost impossible.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

All right. There have been meetings about that, I bet. Yes. That we weren't privy to. My next one is Luigi's. Oliken Roadsters. Luigi's at Carsland in DCA. So my first one is figure out why the heck this ride breaks down so much. Yeah. I mean, for a little spinny ride, it breaks down a lot. Why?

SPEAKER_01

It's the trackless stuff, but I don't know.

Kali River Rapids Needs A Story

SPEAKER_00

It's always broken down. Yeah. So that's my first one, is to figure that out. My second one is turn the ride into Luigi's driving school.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

And at the end of one of the songs, or in the middle of one of the this changes all the time, right? I like things that are surprises. Yes. Right? Kind of like you don't know how you typically drop on Guardians. Uh-huh. Right? Oh, yeah. Same kind of thing. It could the cars will stop at any time. Or not stop that time you're on the ride. Oh, yeah. You could get one where it doesn't stop at all. But in the middle of the song, it could stop and he says, wait, it's an intersection. And then the song starts back up.

SPEAKER_01

That'd be good. It's a little add-on. There you go. Okay. My next one. And maybe you can move yours up. Autopia. I have it next, also. Okay. So, of course, all electric. They need to go that way. But one of the things I don't like about it is you're driving through and it just looks like beat-up foliage everywhere. I don't know. It ruins it for me. So if you're gonna go all electric, I think you need to be driving through like a city, and it's tomorrow land, a city of tomorrow. So think of the movie, all of that, and you just you're gliding. Whoa. Whoa, that was a drink error. You're cut off. Cheers.

SPEAKER_00

I know it's almost gone.

SPEAKER_01

But you're riding through a city of tomorrow and almost like you can control it, but like flying cars, okay. Type of feel. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I thought of that too, like robots taking garbage out of the house.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

That kind of thing.

SPEAKER_01

A futuristic, yeah. Either it needs to be really nice foliage, or it needs to be futuristic. And I think futuristic fits better with Tomorrowland, or they just need to get really they need to redo all the Tomorrowlands anyway. But yeah, that's my only thought of what they could do.

SPEAKER_00

Going back to our characters episode, you drive by one house, so all the houses have robots. You drive by one house and it's rosy from the Jetsons inside the house. Absolutely. That's genius. Yes. So my Utopia, as you're driving the cars, the cars talk to you. Oh, okay. Like it's kind of an AI thing. Oh, okay. Where they judge your driving. They say things like, Would you like me to take over? Yeah, like why you hit in the middle so much? Yeah. Right? Quit hitting the track.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Can't you drive straight?

SPEAKER_01

But in a nice AI way of telling you you suck.

SPEAKER_00

Like if we're driving too slow, are we checking out the scenery?

Mission: SPACE Modernization

SPEAKER_01

Yes. Would you like me to take over? It seems like you're checking out scenery. Can I take over? Yeah. And drive for you.

SPEAKER_00

Why you drive drive this fast, you're gonna hit the car in front of you? Yeah. That kind of thing. Just constantly talking to you. And then once a year, oh and then you get a final score at the end of this one, too.

unknown

Really?

SPEAKER_00

How you drove. So how many times you hit the you get minus points for hitting the metal middle thing.

SPEAKER_01

And maybe you lose your license.

SPEAKER_00

If you go too fast, yeah, there's a speed limit.

SPEAKER_01

You lose your right to self-drive. That's good. That would be I see that as being very futuristic.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I like that.

SPEAKER_01

The right to self-drive.

SPEAKER_00

And then my last part is once a year, I don't have a time of year for this. Okay. There's a complete cars overlay. Oh. Where you're driving one, you're inside one of the cars' cars. They just put an overlay of the car.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, a little snap-on thing.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

See, I still think the Christmas overlay. That's a prime one for a Christmas overlay. All right, my next one. Rise of the resistance. Yeah, you gave me ones that just don't need anything. But I did I did come up with something. So the separating room before they put you in the interrogation. Yeah. I think they need someone dressed up as Kylo Wren or, and I can't remember her name, the one in the silver. The storm should be. The best knight of Game of Thrones. Yeah, Brienne of Tarth.

SPEAKER_00

Right, Brienne of Tarth plays.

SPEAKER_01

Gwendolyn something. Anyway, okay. More likely her because Kylo Wren's the one who interrogates you. Like her walking through and yelling at people. That'd be good. Yeah. It just a little extra touch. Or in the room with all the stormtroopers, Kylo Wren out there and yelling at people, or Hucks out there. Someone dressed up as Hucks.

SPEAKER_00

What if, what if once in a while there's a guy at the very back of the stormtroopers dressed up as a stormtrooper and he throws his helmet off and says, I quit.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Hey, Sucks. Enough of this. Enough of this crap.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. There you go.

SPEAKER_00

That's funny. My next one is my next one is Buzz Lightyear.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

Astro Blasters. Okay. So this isn't a tear it down and rebuild it, but I think they need to change the whole entire laser aspect. They need to work on that. It could be way better. It's always so far off. If you sighted it and a regular weapon, it's not even close.

SPEAKER_01

Not even close.

SPEAKER_00

No, it's made for kids to miss all the time and hit it because they're so far off.

SPEAKER_01

I wonder if they've uh improved the Magic Kingdom version to that. I don't know. Making it better, shooting better. Because they did improve that one quite a bit.

SPEAKER_00

So in this one, they talk to they do the same thing. They talk to you. The car talks to you as you're aiming. Okay. So it's like, cadet, are we even aiming? Direct hit. I knew you had potential.

Goofy’s Sky School Comfort Tweaks

SPEAKER_01

So some training.

SPEAKER_00

And if you hit the button too much, it says conserve power. This is not a disco. You get the gun.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And the other one is the score's changed to not just the number of hits you have, but also it takes the number of hits you get plus the percentage of hits you have.

SPEAKER_01

The percentage.

SPEAKER_00

Adds it together to make a score. Yeah. So if you're just constantly hitting the button, your score's going down. You can't just go blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

SPEAKER_01

That's me on Toy Story Mania. Yeah. I'm I'm like 18% accuracy, but have a super high score. Yeah. Because I'm just going full tilt.

SPEAKER_00

So this has an algorithm that breaks it down and gives you you'd have a low, really low score if you had 18%.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that's good. That's good. All right, my next one. Okay. Indiana Jones.

SPEAKER_00

I think there's a lot to change Indiana Jones.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. It just all the visuals and no more projection. And they just need to update all the animatronics. They need to go through and redo it. It's starting to feel old. Uh-huh. And I think they just need to go through and redo all those, including when Indiana is hanging from that rope. Yeah. Including part of that.

SPEAKER_00

Right. They did a refurbished. The refirm they did a couple years ago now. Mm-hmm. It was really good. Everything's crisper in there. Yeah. It looks newer. But it's still. It still needs a little umph.

SPEAKER_01

It's still very basic animatronics. And that's the problem, is it's very basic animatronics, and they're still using a lot of projection stuff. And yeah, they got to get away from projections.

SPEAKER_00

This is like cars to me, the ride, because I don't care if I go on it when I'm in the park. When I go on it, I have a blast.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

Peter Pan Pixie Dust Touch

SPEAKER_00

It's one of those. I love the ride. But when I'm not on it, I don't care. I could do any of Joe's if you guys don't want to.

SPEAKER_01

Like dinosaur, it's like, meh. But that one is, I always think, meh. But when I go on, I'm like, yo, that was actually pretty fun.

SPEAKER_00

I don't think dinosaur is excellent. I don't think it is.

SPEAKER_01

No, I don't think no, I think it's very meh.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So I'm hoping when they I'm hoping when they update that, it should include all the updates that the current Indiana Jones has. It will be. Yeah. So next one.

SPEAKER_00

My next one is Spaceship Earth. Yes. That's a tough one. Yeah. Because you're just cruising along and we're talking about Earth.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So my first thing is there's signs everywhere that tell you that the Phoenicians are taking credit for everything.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

It keeps going in every time period.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, okay. You're thanking the Phoenicians. So thank the Phoenicians for radio.

SPEAKER_00

Remember, thank remember the Phoenicians. Right. Everywhere. There's different kinds of funny little things. And when Michelangelo is there, he speaks to you as he's painting. Yeah. And he says, when he's painting, I should have taken that sculpture job as he's up on the ceiling. And then he looks down at a guy and says, How many prophets do you want me to paint?

SPEAKER_01

So that one really needs an update for the audio. Right. You cannot hear anything that they're saying.

SPEAKER_00

No, it's really tough. You got to really listen. And if anyone's talking in your car, yeah, you really can't hear anything. Then there's that huge computer room.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

This was like the first computer ever. And so the narration, when you go by that, could say something like, In the future, this will fit in your pocket.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. And you can thank the Phoenicians for that.

SPEAKER_00

And as the ride ends, it says, and through it all, we thank the Phoenicians.

Luigi’s Reliability And Surprises

SPEAKER_01

You definitely got to thank the Phoenicians. All right. My next one. Jungle cruise. They need to change the boats to where all the seats are facing forward. None of this, the way that where you sit around the edge of the boat sucks. It is because you miss half. Because you have to reef around to look behind you at certain things. If everybody was facing forward, they could see everything. Do you make the boat smaller? No, I think they look more like pirates. Because if you're in the middle of a boat, you might miss because you have to well, you could do them like three people wide or something, or four people wide. Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Just have less people in the boat.

SPEAKER_01

No, because if you have six rows, that's like 24 people. That's still as many as are cramming in there now. I'm glad they that center seating place that they don't try to put people in there anymore. But they need to have it where everybody's facing forward and better speakers. I've never had a problem there seeing everything. Better speakers. Better speakers for sure. But when you're going by something and they're commenting on something that's right behind you, yeah, and you have to turn try and turn around a 180 in your seat. Yeah. Yeah, that's annoying to me.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Forward-facing seats.

SPEAKER_00

And I don't understand the speaker thing. Yeah. Sometimes I cannot hear a word they're saying. I try to laugh to make them feel good because I know they're funny.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And I try no one's laughing.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

Autopia Goes Electric And Futuristic

SPEAKER_00

And you can't hear what they're saying. You're getting upset that no one's laughing at them, but you can't hear a word they're saying.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. It's all their fault.

SPEAKER_00

So my next one is Walt Disney World Railroad.

SPEAKER_01

And see, this one I threw at you to this is a tough one.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, so I have some stuff here.

SPEAKER_01

And this is his baby.

SPEAKER_00

I have the person the conductor. Okay. Goes all jungle cruise up on this. That would be good. So here's some of the lines I came up with. Okay. All aboard. If you're not aboard, please jog. On your left, Genuine Frontier Wilderness. On your right, regular wilderness. Keep your eyes peeled for the rare Florida tumbleweed. Wait, look out there. It's the castle. Wave at the castle, because it enjoys the attention. If you see a dragon, don't worry. They're unionized and it's break time. Where would you see a dragon? By the castle. Oh. I don't know. You can see a dragon. As you're looking at the castle. Can you? I don't know. Oh. I just came up with the deadline. I don't know.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Okay. There could be a dragon store. You were confusing me there for a second.

SPEAKER_00

Thank you for writing us. Thank you for riding with us. This concludes your journey around the per perimeter of capitalism. Some of the lines.

SPEAKER_01

I don't think they need to remind us of that. Or they want to. Alright, my next one. Space Mountain, Magic Kingdom version. So they just need to smooth out the track to be more like the Disneyland. If they're going to do a refurb, that's just it. That's just it. Yeah. Thank you. Less like Matterhorn, more like Space Mountain at Disneyland. Number one one we have on here. The same cars.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Because they're so much more comfortable. So I like that little lap bar too.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I need to ride. I need to ride again a few times to 20 or 30. Yeah, 20 or 30 more times.

SPEAKER_01

Just check it out. It's got a single rider. You can walk right on that. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Puppy. Can I have some stuff? I have some stuff for this one. I have what? One more? Is there one last one?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Yes. Yes.

SPEAKER_00

Mickey of Minis. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Yeah, I thought I'd throw you a curveball.

SPEAKER_00

I have some things.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

You're not on the train, really. Oh. Now on this version, you're directing a mini short. Oh. Okay. Some things that might happen on your ride. Okay. When Goofy crashes the train, all the screens around you flicker, and someone off-screen yells, Who let the train through the set? Then a boom mic falls down into it. Like it's a mess up of this thing. And then it comes up. And uh then as you're driving, you can see Mickey or Goofy, Goofy flipping through a manual that says train conducting for beginners. For dummies. And I don't know. Train conducting 101. Yeah, I just put it for beginners.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

As you're going on the ride, you can see them flipping through this.

SPEAKER_01

Uh-oh. That's good. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Now you're at the Daisy dance scene.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Once in a while, one of the screens flickers on and off. Like it's broken.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

Rise Of The Resistance Live Characters

SPEAKER_00

While you're doing the dance, and other images show up. It could be an image from another scene that you've already been on. Okay. Or it could be a backdrop falling through the screen. And it could be a sign that says smile bigger. Like a guy holding up a sign. There you go. Okay. Okay, now we're at the tornado scene. Okay. A cow floats by right during the scene, and a house comes by that looks suspiciously like it belongs in Kansas. Weird, huh?

SPEAKER_01

Would they be able to still use that IP?

SPEAKER_00

They can put a house in there. Yeah. They don't have to put a wicked witch riding a bicycle. Just a house. Just with a log house. Yeah. Floating by. Okay. And the final scene, the director says, cut. That was acceptable to the ride. And then Chubi is a lot more prominent.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Throughout this ride. And the cool part is they come out with a new Disney short on Disney Plus with Chubi. It's a Chubi short. And if you watch it, it enhances the ride.

SPEAKER_01

I think he but he's the size of one of the eagles from The Hobbit.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

And he comes and rescues you from this bad production. Yeah, that could be good. There you go.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. So the watching the Disney short before you go to Disneyland makes the ride enhances the ride somehow.

SPEAKER_01

I like that. I like that. There you go. All right, my last one. Yeah, your last one. Expedition Everest. Okay. So first you got to add multiple Yetis, not just one big disco yet.

SPEAKER_00

Yetis everywhere.

Buzz Lightyear Accuracy And Scoring

SPEAKER_01

Including baby yetis. Oh. We're just curious. And they can pop up anywhere. All of a sudden you see a little head pop out. Like, what's going on? And then come back. And I think it there's the part where you get up to the top and it's all torn up track and you go backwards. But I think at some point it needs, they need to somehow figure out a way to make it feel like it it's come off the rails. And a little more jarring, but just to terrify you, especially if you're going backwards in the dark. Yeah. Just like something, what was what what just happened? What went wrong? Just to fully scare those people who are writing it for the first time. And then you can play along if you've ridden it before, and it's not supposed to do that. Uh oh. We're in trouble. Yeah. Yeah. And like some loud screeching noises.

SPEAKER_00

I like more yetis when you're flying along.

SPEAKER_01

But definitely more yetis.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I like that.

SPEAKER_01

Just ones that pop up from the bushes. You know, a little Jack Sparrow action where it pop up from the barrel. And yeah. Just all throughout. Little baby yetis. That's cool. Yeah. So that's it. That's it.

SPEAKER_00

Those are our ideas that we have for rides. Did we finish our drinks? We did. I had a one party foul.

SPEAKER_01

You did?

SPEAKER_00

Or I hit the microphone.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. I hit mine a couple times too.

SPEAKER_00

But that's how much we enjoyed this drink, everybody.
