Villains do not need to rebuild Disneyland to make it feel cursed. Give them control over the ride names, the background music, and the menu descriptions, and suddenly every “classic” turns into a warning label. We start with a toast straight out of Disney Cruise Line lore by recreating The Darling from DeVille’s Piano Lounge on the Disney Destiny, then we use that same attention to theme and tone to let the bad guys run wild.

From there, we draft the takeover rules and pick our battlegrounds: Disneyland and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. You’ll hear our ride overlay pitches that keep the mechanics intact while flipping the story, like Kilimanjaro Safaris as Scar’s Wasteland, Expedition Everest pursued by the Druun, and Flight of Passage reframed as a full-on Battle For Pandora. On the Disneyland side, Space Mountain becomes Zerg’s “Totally Safe” training simulator complete with relentless monologuing, Pirates turns into Captain Hook’s “respectable” maritime career pitch, and It’s a Small World gets a Dr. Facilier twist that asks one question on repeat: did you read the fine print?

We also take swings at shows and walkthroughs, from Scar-centered theater to a Phantasmic narration track run by Hades, plus a Maleficent-inspired castle exhibit that rewrites the whole “who is the victim?” argument. And because Disney food culture is half the fun, we rename lounges and restaurants with villain energy, including a Nomad Lounge takeover with color-changing cocktails and a Cruella dining makeover that insists the steak is totally not what you think.

If you love Disney villains, theme park storytelling, Disneyland details, Animal Kingdom atmosphere, and clever menu theming, hit subscribe, share the episode with a Disney friend, and leave a review. Which villain takeover would you actually want to experience?

Welcome And Disney Destiny Cocktail

SPEAKER_02

Today we're having a Darlene from DeVille's piano lounge on the Disney Destiny, and the villains are taking over the parks. Welcome to Tears Tears.

SPEAKER_01

We're gonna click our drinks. We're gonna toast. We're gonna talk destiny. And get our tears to it.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, we are back.

SPEAKER_00

We are back.

SPEAKER_03

Start us off. Tell us about this drink. Yes.

SPEAKER_02

So this is we don't usually do a cruise line drink. We've only done it once. This is a good switch up. Yeah. It's hard to find the menu online for the cruise lines. They don't have the apps. Maybe there's a cruise line app. I mean, I need to check that out.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, we need to.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, okay. So anyway, for$12, you can get the Darling at DeVille's Piano Lounge.

SPEAKER_03

$12 measly bucks.

SPEAKER_02

$12 measly bucks. That's it.

SPEAKER_03

I know.

SPEAKER_02

That's two six dollar bills.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

And you only have to pay what,$1,500 to get on the boat?

SPEAKER_02

How many gold gold balloons? The balloons? Okay. I don't know what I'll say. It's made with gray goose, La Citron, Contro, Rose Cherry, Lime, and Cranberry for that$12.

SPEAKER_03

So we made ours, one shot of Absolon. Couldn't find the gray goose, so at least not in Minis. Right. Half ounce of cherry rose syrup, half ounce of lime juice, half ounce of cointreau, and one ounce of cranberry juice. And it's a good martini. It's a martini style. Martini style. Cosmo. Very cosmo tasty. It is cosmo tasting with the cranberry juice, but aesthetically pleasing. I like it. It's a nice looking drink. It tastes good. A little bit of an alcohol, you know, forward. Not real strong, but it's a fruity martini.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, this is a really good one. It says here on the same little thing I looked up. It says it's one of the more classic refreshing options on the DeVille's menu, described as a crowd pleaser.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, 12 bucks, I think it would be. They have some other ones that look very interesting on the whole menu there. So at some point, I think we might need to try try a couple more. And go on the Disney Destiny, and that's the best option.

SPEAKER_02

There you go. Which one is it's one of the newer ships? Okay. And DeVille's lounge looks great because it's a 101 Domations theme, it's all red and black. Oh. Inside. And and it says they have the$30 perfectly wretched cocktail.

SPEAKER_03

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

Which is served with edible glitter and a f and a frozen lipstick. Oh. We should look that up. I should look more into this.

SPEAKER_03

One of the last times, it was right after COVID, and I went to Disneyland. It was one of my solo trips. Okay. And they had it was when the live action, Cruella Deville, her origin story.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. So the one with Emma Stone.

SPEAKER_03

Emma Stone, yeah. It had just come out. And they had the props. So they had the car there. They had a few other props in downtown Disney. So that was pretty cool. I got some pictures of that. That's really cool. And that was one of the live actions that was actually pretty good.

SPEAKER_02

I like it.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. I like a good villain origin story that although they all try to make them seem like better people than they actually were. Less evil. Less evil. Yeah. Or you understand why they were evil. No, you were gonna kill puppies. You're evil.

SPEAKER_02

But she never did, as we talked about before.

SPEAKER_03

She never did, but she if she could have. She would have. Yes.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. So today we're talking about. Are we done with the drink? We're done talking about it, right?

SPEAKER_03

It's good. It's good. I mean, it's just good. It's not great.

SPEAKER_02

It doesn't fall on the great category.

SPEAKER_03

I think I would order this though. I think I might too. Looking at what was there, if I if it were a hot day and I just wanted a nice, slightly fruity alcohol ship and a lounge on a ship.

SPEAKER_02

I don't know.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, they have, but like I said, there's a couple others. The Fearless Sir Galahad look pretty good on their menu.

SPEAKER_02

Good names.

SPEAKER_03

Yes. The great names for these.

SPEAKER_02

This is a great name for a drink.

SPEAKER_03

So yes, the Darling. The Darling. So anyway, I recommend it. Make it at home. We told you the recipe. You got it.

The Villain Takeover Ground Rules

SPEAKER_02

You got it. So anyway, today we're talking about villains are taking over the parks.

SPEAKER_03

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

And it's a concept we came up with where the villains can take over one park, but the rules are the rule there's rules behind it, right? Yes. They can't change the whole ride. They can't build their own rides. All they can do is change the music, the name of the ride, and the foods.

SPEAKER_03

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

The names of the foods. Not the foods itself, the names of the foods. Yeah. And the names of the restaurants. Yeah. They can do that kind of stuff. They just change little changes to make them more evil. What's wrong?

SPEAKER_03

Mark this time. Okay. We're going to take a little break here. Okay. You keep cutting out because Oh, I do? Yes. So it needs to be in the mic needs to be in between me and you. It needs to be more over here. So that when you're talking, you're still talking into it. Okay. Because you're doing that. All right. Sound quality.

SPEAKER_02

All right. What park did you pick? I picked Disneyland, like I always do.

SPEAKER_03

Like you always do. I did Animal Kingdom Park because I thought that would be very unique. That's a good pick.

SPEAKER_02

That's a good pick. And I tried to go to Epcot. I tried to think of how I would do it, and I couldn't figure out. Epcot would be.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

At least there's same in Hollywood Studios. That's tough too.

SPEAKER_03

It could be a little easier, but because there's no like strong themes. Right. Whereas the Magic Kingdom, Disneyland, Animal Kingdom has some strong themes. There's the animals. And there are a lot of animals. And I went with this. There's a lot of animal-based villains and stories. Okay. So that's what I was thinking. But I did ride shows and I did basically I just kind of took over Nomad Lounge and came up with three new drinks.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, that's pretty good because you sent me that thing today, right when I was starting, and you told me how you did it. So I followed your script. I did three rides. Okay. Two shows, the loose shows at Disneyland. Yes. And then a couple restaurants. I did a sit-down and a quick serve.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And that's all I did. Just but just basic.

SPEAKER_03

I probably should have taken over the a restaurant as well, but I just did the That's a good idea, though. The lounge. Drinks, yeah. I did some drinks. Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Start us off with some of your rides.

SPEAKER_03

So Animal Kingdom Park, Kilimanjaro Safaris turns into Scar's Wasteland. Ooh. So jeep drivers speak in an ominous voice and tell whether the animals we pass by are snacks or allies.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

Ride Overlays From Scar To Zurg

SPEAKER_03

So you're maybe going by the crocodiles. Oh, these are allies to Scar or the hyenas. Or the Afric. Actually, they don't have hyenas, they have African painted dogs. These are allies to Scar. Or, oh, look at the gazelle. He's a snack. But in ominous tones and voices. At least until all the snacks are gone. So he's a s they're all snacks until there's no more snacks.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

So that was mine to change it over. That's how Scar would change it over.

SPEAKER_02

Perfect. Perfect. Well, my first one now? Sure. Mine's Space Mountain. And it's called Zerg's Totally Safe Galactic Takeover. Okay. It's an instead of just music, right? It has music on the right, of course. Yeah. But instead of just music, there's monologuing the whole time. Like evil person telling them what they're going to do. Okay. Ha ha ha. Right. And then evil monologuing before they don't commit the crime they're trying to commit. Yeah. Because they talk too long. There's that going on. And it's framed as a training simulator, but actually it's just Zerg telling you how bad you are at the training. It's supposed to be a training simulator, but he just dogged me the whole time.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, he just dogged you.

SPEAKER_02

Just totally making fun of you.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. Yeah, that's it. That's it.

SPEAKER_03

Okay. My next one up Expedition Everest turns into Drune World Escape.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_03

So the Drune are from Raya and the Last Dragon, and they are the spirits that turn everything into stone.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that's a good, they're a good they're a good villain you don't think of very often. I like that.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. I was going outside the box with this, and I was trying to look up Asia. Now, granted, that's China, and this sort of is it's Nepal Himalayas for Expedition Everest. So some of the Himalayas are in China, so that's kind of how I had to go with that one, even though I think Ryan and the Last Dragon is a different part of China. But anyway, instead of looking for a Yeti, you're racing to stay in front of the drone spirits. Oh. Raya and the Last Dragon. Okay. So you're going up and you see them, and that's when it goes backwards. And then because you're just taking a casual ride through the Chinese countryside, all of a sudden there's the drones right there. And yeah, then they take you take off because they're chasing you.

SPEAKER_02

Nice. That's a good ride. It's a good ride. This is a good park so far. I like these. My next one's Pirates. Okay. And it's Captain Hook's Maritime Acquisition. I like the names of the rides with what I came up with. It's a very the violent, heavy sea shanties. Okay. Throughout the whole the whole ride. And every pirate it talks about talks about what a noble, respectable career they have. They just talk about how great their career is as a pirate. Yeah. They're very happy to be a pirate. Kind of like a pirate's life for me, but more noble. But no more noble. And the canon scene, this is a great scene. The cannon scene where you one of my favorite scenes in all of Disney, when you go up in there fighting across the ship. Oh, yeah. Between the fort and the ship. Yeah. With the hidden Mickey. The Canon scene has Hook on it, yelling and telling everyone that he's not a pirate. He's just an aggressive networker. He's a maritime trader. Respectable. Yeah. Right. Noble, respectable career.

SPEAKER_03

Legit profession. Right. Duh. That is pirates. Okay, my next one. Flight of passage becomes battle for Pandora. So instead of riding, you're riding around on that ride on the back of a banshee. Okay. You're looking at the screen, and it's just you training. That's how it is now, you training. Right. This is different. So Colonel Quarich leads the battle to wipe out the Navi. Take flight on your banshee as you are chased through the skies by an AT-99 Scorpion gunship. Hang on tight. So it's you've got lasers going off, and you see them flying around the gunships and they're shooting at people, and you're doing evasive maneuvers on the banshee.

SPEAKER_02

I like that.

SPEAKER_03

As they're chasing you. That's a good one. That might be a good Christmas overlay. Christmas. He could just Colonel Corrid could just wear a Christmas hat. That's funny. It's a Christmas overlay. But we were trying to celebrate Christmas and you started shooting at us.

SPEAKER_02

That's hilarious.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, your last one.

SPEAKER_02

Love it. My last one is Small World, which I made the ride better, I gotta say.

SPEAKER_03

I was gonna say it's kind of evil now in your mind.

SPEAKER_02

I know, so I guess I had a couple other ones I thought of. I didn't like them. I could I had a hard I had a really hard time with this whole topic. Okay. It's one of my hardest topics to come up with stuff today. Small world is Dr. Facilier takes it over. Okay. And it's all your deals go incredibly wrong. Okay. On the ride. So you're riding the boat, you're riding the boat, and it's off key jazz music right throughout. Right? It's still a better ride, probably. And then it stops, though. It stops every once in a while. The music stops, and he asks, you hear Dr. Facilier's voice just in the air saying, Did you read the fine print? That happens all the time. Yeah. And then the dolls randomly wink at you. Oh, adds a little bit. Like you're making a deal. Like yeah. Like you're making like they know there's a deal.

SPEAKER_03

The work in the deal.

SPEAKER_02

And then one of the lines I came up with for It's a Small World, the new song. It's a small world and you owe us something.

SPEAKER_03

It's a small world because you made it small. You owe us.

SPEAKER_02

So yeah, that's what I came up with. I had a hard time with the rides. I couldn't think of any great big thunder one. I couldn't come up with anything great. I probably could have spent more time on this topic, really.

SPEAKER_03

It was than I gave it. That's why Animal Kingdom, because and they I because I thought about also doing like from Jungle Book.

SPEAKER_02

There was a couple of Jungle Cook is a good one.

SPEAKER_03

There's a couple of walkthroughs that there's a couple of animals, but I came up with some drinks for that. But anyway, we'll get to that.

SPEAKER_02

So that's one of my two things I probably made better. I have another one I made better.

Shows Rewritten By Villain Narrators

SPEAKER_03

Okay. Later. Okay. So the shows. Shows. Starting off, Festival of the Lion King becomes the ascension of Scar. Told from Scar's point of view. So he's the hero of the story. Okay. See the story and the plotting to take over the pride lands, an act of treachery and revenge. Wow. I like it. But it's told as it as if he's the hero. Right, of course he's a hero. Yeah, because he was screwed over.

SPEAKER_02

Right.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. He he deserved to take it over.

SPEAKER_02

The evil Mufasa.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Mufasa. Jerk.

SPEAKER_02

Jerk. I like that one. Scar's kind of the hero, kind of the big deal now in our parks, because I'm going to come up with I think I have Scar in a little bit here. Oh. He had Scar twice.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, I did.

SPEAKER_02

I think I'm going to mention him one more time. That's a lot of mentions for a not the huge villain.

unknown

No.

SPEAKER_02

I guess he is kind of huge, but are there?

SPEAKER_03

Let me think. Let's do some brainstorming here. Are there any other villains from Africa? Like African stories? I'm trying to think if there's even some other African stories. Was there anything in Egypt? I suppose.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, there was where's Hercules at? That's not me. No, that's that's a little north.

SPEAKER_03

And so is Aladdin. Yeah, maybe not. Just jungle book, maybe. Morocco? Actually, the Aladdin could have been Morocco's as well, I suppose. And that's maybe a stretch.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I don't know.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, who knows?

SPEAKER_02

But you can put them in there. That's what Disney does.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, that's true. Become is a twist.

SPEAKER_02

It's a little twist. I just do this and it does my first one. Is the tiki room.

SPEAKER_03

Okay. Okay. This is hard for me to get it.

SPEAKER_02

It's a pretty good show. It's a pretty good show, though. Okay. It's gonna be good. You'll like it. Okay. You'll like it.

SPEAKER_03

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

It's it's Ursula's Poor Unfortunate Luau, is the new show.

SPEAKER_03

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. The songs changed to Jazzy Sultry songs.

SPEAKER_03

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. Still the birds are still going, same exact show. They're still doing the same exact animatronics. Right. But they stop mid-song, those the birds do once in a while. I like to stop, I guess I like to stop mid-song because it's the second time I've done it. To offer you a contract. Oh, okay. Mid-song. Okay. And it's a tropical show that turns slowly into a catchy scam pitch. So Ursula's the star. Yeah. You just hear her voice though, because of course we can't we can't stick a Ursula animatronic in there because it has to be just the birds going.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it has to be the birds going.

SPEAKER_02

So you just hear her above the birds and they're talking for her.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

So we couldn't add a Ursula animatronic because that would be adding to the ride.

SPEAKER_03

I just saw something that Ursula is there's a connection between that and Hercules. Ursula is Poseidon's sister.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Didn't know that.

SPEAKER_03

I didn't either. I saw a little clip on YouTube. On the YouTubes telling me about this.

SPEAKER_02

So Ursula backstory.

SPEAKER_03

Ursula Backstory.

SPEAKER_02

We need an origin story. We need an origin story there.

SPEAKER_03

Why is Disney? Why is she so angry?

SPEAKER_02

Why don't we have that yet? Yeah. What's going down?

SPEAKER_03

And I like how you combine South Pacific bird tiki lore with a Danish story.

SPEAKER_02

Like I said, little tweets.

SPEAKER_03

The tweet. Excellent. Okay. Okay, your next. My next one. So this was a tough one as far as so there are three bigger shows, I would say, at and it there's so much in flux right now at Animal Kingdom. Probably a little easier to do it in about a year or two, year and a half. Right. So it was either go Better Zoogether, Zootopia Better Zoogether, which is took over Tough to be a Bug, or it's Finding Nemo, the big blue and beyond. Okay. So it was really I wanted to pick only one. It was tough. I went with Zootopia, Better Zoogether. Okay. Because it had a built-in, it's Zootopia Bellwether's revenge.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_03

So Bellwether was the sheep who was the assistant to the mayor, or the lieutenant mayor, something like that.

SPEAKER_02

Something like that.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, and she took over as mayor by her little evil dealings and whatnot. So, right there. There's your built-in. So Bellweather escapes prison and exacts her revenge on Nick Wilde and Judy Hops. Oh. Yeah. It's a good story. Good revenge story. Right. Yeah. With old Nick Wilde and that's a good thing.

SPEAKER_02

That's a good show. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Is there a song and dance numbers? Oh, there's got to be some music there. Right. Yeah. Which I don't I didn't add any music. I okay. I didn't go that far because this is just concept, though.

SPEAKER_02

It's concept. Yeah, it's a concept. It's concept.

SPEAKER_03

Right. I have to say, so I've watched, I like both the songs that Shakira did for both of the Zootopia movies. You're hiring Shakira. Shakira's gonna, yeah, she's gonna sing the song and write it, or her people will write it.

SPEAKER_02

I don't know. Maybe she does a song though, since her songs are all about the good times. Maybe she's the bad guy.

SPEAKER_03

She could be. I watched, did you watch the video of that song? Yes, after the movie. Yeah. Okay, her dancing was a it was a little weird in that outfit she had on. She's how old now? But her I don't know. She was her body was contorting in weird directions. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Her hips didn't lie though at all. I don't, did they? They didn't. They I don't think they lied. I don't think they ever have lied.

SPEAKER_03

No.

SPEAKER_02

Her hips, most truthful hips. Most all of music. Truth truthful hips.

SPEAKER_03

Absolutely. Yeah. And I think it might stem from the fact of going back originally, all the way back to the first movie that we reviewed, that they they have her as a gazelle. She is not a gazelle. She's a quakka. Okay. And I've made that point.

SPEAKER_02

You're sticking by it.

SPEAKER_03

I'm sticking by it. She's a little quakka. That's funny. She's cute. Quakka's a cute. Gazelle, no. That's funny. Yeah. Anne Hathaway. She's gazelle-like.

SPEAKER_02

Came up with a gazelle.

SPEAKER_03

Yes. She's gazelle-like. Shakira, she's a quakka. Okay. Yeah. Maybe an Australian possum. Oh, possum. Possum. Yeah. They're very cute little animals. She's a cute little animal. That's awesome. Shakira, if you ever listen to this, please don't take offense. You're a kwakka, though. And I quote Aaron. You're not a gazelle, you're a quakka. And just look up Quakka. Put it into your phone. Type it up. Look it up. And you are a cute little animal. You're a cute little animal. I think we need t-shirts. Yep.

SPEAKER_02

You're a cute little animal.

SPEAKER_03

Aaron. Shakira, you're a cute little quakka.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. So we have one more show to do each, right?

SPEAKER_03

And then No, you have one more.

SPEAKER_02

Right. And then a walkthrough. You have a walkthrough after that. Okay. My second show is Phantasmic. Okay. Yeah. I couldn't. It's hard to find shows at Disney because they're so horrible at it. Disneyland Resort.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Both you and California Adventures suck at the shows. Just shutting them all down. This new Phantasmic's called, I like the titles, the even better Phantasmic show, micromanaged by Hades. That would be a good one. Hades is a great character. He narrates the entire show with sarcasm.

SPEAKER_03

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. It's all narrated by him. Pain and Panic in it. I don't have them at all, but they would have to be. Yeah, they would. It's not my little overview. The hero moments are interrupted with lines like, yeah, good triumphs over evil. We've heard of that all before. He says stuff like that. Yeah. Like the big hero moments in the show. Because the show has to be exactly the same, right? He's still doing the hero stuff. Yeah. But he treats the show, he's he treats the show like he's forced to do it. Someone's making him to do it. That's the tone. Yeah. I don't want to be here.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. I'm here against my blah blah blah against my will.

SPEAKER_02

We're doing phasmic. Yada yada yada.

SPEAKER_03

Yada yada. Did you just yada yada yada through phasmic?

Walkthrough Twists And Point Of View

SPEAKER_02

I mentioned the bisque. We sidefelled it up quickly. Like without a beat, we sidefelded it. Nice. Okay. Okay, so you have a walkthrough to talk about. I have foods. Well, I think you did a walkthrough also.

SPEAKER_03

I didn't do a walkthrough. Well, I did a walkthrough. Should I talk about that really quick? Talk about your walkthrough because maybe I'll think of a walkthrough.

SPEAKER_02

Well, Cinderella Castle.

SPEAKER_03

Okay. I thought you put you did a walkthrough. Okay, yes. Okay. Sort of. I do have ideas, but go ahead.

SPEAKER_02

Mine's called Maleficent's Curse Appreciation Exhibit. Okay. And it tells the true story of how Maleficent was the real victim the whole time. Yeah. True story of what happened, right? Yes. Don't watch that movie. Don't watch the movie. No, walk through here. It has ominous choir music throughout when you walk to the castle. Right? And it's Malefic Maleficent, she tells the whole story as a justified overreaction. Oh. They just like this kind of what happened, but it didn't make way too big a deal. That's not really they're making way too big a deal about what really happened.

SPEAKER_03

That was it what she did overreact. That's the whole story of her story. Well, that's what we talked about. I get invited to a party. I'm gonna kill a child.

SPEAKER_02

Or you know, but she's saying it was a misunderstood by the other side.

SPEAKER_03

Misunderstood.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. She wasn't really trying to kill her.

SPEAKER_03

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

That's not what really happened.

SPEAKER_03

No. You guys weren't that's what what didn't happen in the sympathetic remake. The other side's trying to tell you the story.

SPEAKER_02

They're making they're leaving certain parts out.

SPEAKER_03

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

That I will tell you. All point of view. All point of view.

SPEAKER_03

Right. My walkthrough would have been Shiri Khan, the tiger from Jungle Book. Because they've got the tigers there.

SPEAKER_02

You're just walking through the animal exhibit.

New Lounge Drinks With Villain Names

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, you're just walking through the animal exhibit, but it would be you could have it narrated by Shirikon or yeah. Ominous tones, things like that. That was my I was thinking about that and then I completely forgot. But that would, and that just it fits. Right. Yeah, we got some jungle book stuff going on here, but that just jungle books. So my foods. All I did with this one is Nomad Lounge. I renamed it to Kaz Snake Pit. So Ka f is from Jungle Book, and he's the hypnotic python, African python or Indian. I guess it'd be India, is where that kind of takes place. Not or Southeast Asia, so India, that kind of area.

SPEAKER_02

I've never all these Disney movies are. Watched as a kid. I never placed where they were, I didn't even care where they were.

SPEAKER_03

Not really. Yeah. I didn't watch Disney movies as a kid. That was the problem.

SPEAKER_02

That's true.

SPEAKER_03

I had parents who that's not a problem because you're catching up. I'm catching up. It doesn't matter. I should probably re-watch Jungle Book.

SPEAKER_02

There's a lot to it.

SPEAKER_03

Didn't they remake it into live action too?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, and it was not good.

SPEAKER_03

Not good. Okay.

SPEAKER_02

It's not sticking out, so I'm saying not good.

SPEAKER_03

So I have to rewatch it. Nomad Lounge. And you want me to just I did three drinks. Sure. So the hypnotic spiral.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_03

It's Kendrick's gin, lychee syrup, and butterfly PT. So the butterfly PT is it changes due to the alkaline or the acidity in the drink. Okay. So if it's acidic, it turns a blue or a purple. Okay. And if it's alkaline, it'll turn green because of the tea.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_03

So what it is, they pour the tea, and it's a whole show that they come out and you have your drink with the gin and the light lychee syrup, and they pour the tea on top and they give it a swirl. And it just like swirls down in there. I also thought it would be cool if they had a little piece of dry ice in there to give it like that fog effect. But yeah, they give it a little a little stir. They use the butterfly tea PT in a lot of their drinks. And so I went ahead and ordered some. So we'll we'll have to look around for one of those drinks. Okay. Because I want to see that effect.

SPEAKER_02

Perfect.

SPEAKER_03

I think that would be cool. So my second drink, Viper's Venom, Reposado Tequila. This is basically just a margarita. Okay. But it's called the Viper's Venom, Reposado Tequila, Quantro, Lime Juice with chili bitters. Oh, little spice kick. Little tweezed. Little key. So yeah, it's just a little margarita with a little bit of heat. And then I had the hyena's cackle. Okay. So African star rum, banana rum, and pog juice. Oh. Another thing from Scar with the hyenas.

SPEAKER_02

That's a good drink.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, that I thought would be a good. Yeah. They have something similar at Nomad Lounge. I kind of looked at their drinks to get some ideas. Right. But that's why they came up with that for that one. So that was all my my foods, my drinks at Nomad Lounge. Have you been to Nomad Lounge? No. You've been there twice, right? Animal Kingdom? Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

We went? Yeah, we went and we didn't eat really any. I didn't have any. Is Nomad Lounge a sit-down?

SPEAKER_03

It's a lounge. It's next to the Tiffin's.

SPEAKER_02

No, which is a C. No, I never went, no.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, okay. No. Yeah, you have to go. Yeah. You got a cocktail somewhere. We restaurant source.

SPEAKER_02

What was that one place we went though? That we that I went with Christie. And then you went the next time you went with the really good the vegetarian foods we had. Oh Satuly Canteen. I had a drink there.

SPEAKER_03

Okay. I went for breakfast. I went for breakfast there. That is to me, that rivals the Ronto wrap for breakfast at a park. It's good food.

SPEAKER_02

I haven't had breakfast there, but I can imagine.

Restaurant Renames And Dark Menu Gags

SPEAKER_03

Because the lunch we had was great. It was a goat cheese fritata and shaved beef, and it was so good. Good food. Yeah, and some greens. It was a good, nice, healthy, uh, low-carb breakfast.

SPEAKER_02

So speaking of good food, yeah, I'm going to take this restaurant and make it better, probably. Because I can't make it worse.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

I'm thinking of a galactic grill.

SPEAKER_03

No, you could not make that worse.

SPEAKER_02

No, I can't. It's called Scar's Totally Trustworthy Snack Shack. Okay. Okay. And it's the same food, of course. Cheeseburger fries soda. Okay. But I name renamed them. Are they the same hockey puck burger? Yeah, they're gonna be awful.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_02

I can't change what better theming. If you change the food and make it better, then we couldn't make fun of it anymore.

SPEAKER_03

A villain would screw up the theming, too. So just a scars in restaurant inside of Tomorrowland. I think that's something that a villain would do. Screw up the theming.

SPEAKER_02

Everything sounds vaguely threatening, but it's just regular awful food. Okay. Okay. Yeah. It sounds better. Like the fry, the soda is the elephant graveyard refresher. Okay. That's just soda.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

The fries are called Watch Your Back Potatoes. Okay. Okay. And the burger, the cheeseburger is called I Am the Real Burger King.

SPEAKER_03

There you go. I am the real burger. Yeah, I picked up on that. That's good.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, some good play on words in. And then I changed Blue Bayou restaurant. Oh, okay. To Cruella's fabulous dining experience.

SPEAKER_03

Is it puppy legs and it's like drumstick?

SPEAKER_02

Well, it has. Okay. It has. And the positives are there's runway beats being played while you're eating. Yeah, okay. Like that, right? The dessert is the over-the-top decadence. Okay.

SPEAKER_03

That's a good name for dessert.

SPEAKER_02

The salad's called the run runway greens. And the steak is called the the spotted reaction. Spotted reaction? We swear it's cow. It says on the bottom it's cow, it's really is.

SPEAKER_03

The dessert. That's the decadence. What was that? Over the top decadence. Over the top decadence. But what is it? It's over-the-top decadence.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it's probably chocolate. Very chocolatey.

SPEAKER_03

Very chocolatey, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Like a chocolate mousse on top.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. The millionaires cake it. Yeah, it's like Gwendolyn Rogers.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, four different chocolates. Yeah. I can imagine that being.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, over-the-top decadence. Because you that's a word you use with chocolate, is decadence.

SPEAKER_02

I like that. Decadence. I like decadence. And I had to add it could be not cow. Not cow. That you're eating in a steak. Yeah. Something about we don't we swear it's cow. Just order it.

SPEAKER_03

I like the thought of puppy legs. And they're just drumsticks. Just to see how many people would order that.

Final Jokes And Closing Toast

SPEAKER_02

All right. And that ends our episode. And on that note, if you want real puppy legs, email us at cheers number two ears at outlook.com.

SPEAKER_03

I was gonna say something about oh there are parts of the world where you can get puppy legs. Okay, here we go.

SPEAKER_02

We're skipping the puppy leg. I was trying to get away from the puppy leg theme. We're on it still.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Anyway, go on, subscribe, follow, do all those things that you need to do, and we will talk to you next week. And until then, cheers.
